I'm talking about Kerry Rhodes getting benched for shying away from contact and not making plays, and you posting a video of him NOT shying away from contact and making a play. You could've posted a few videos of him getting abused by Welker that ACTUALLY show why he's being benched, but you didn't.

No sweat, though. Guys seem to be eating it up.

Happens sometimes when you make a tackle.

the way he tackled was all wrong.

Yes, even Rex said he still made the tackle, and some guys get blasted but the runner still goes down.

But when he's been playing the way he has, and you make a tackle bending forward like that, you deserve to made fun of.

But Rhodes allowed himself to look life a prancing pony against Maroney.

He is the one with absolutely no pride left at all... team pride at the very least.

That sting I feel is pride fucking with me, but Rhodes is the one to blame here.

    BAD......... BAD F*cking sign, Folks.

This reminds me of a quote that I read from Aaron Glenn during the Kotite era. "We have to stop fooling around in practice." I knew when I read that that we were in trouble. It looks like we're in trouble again.

yea I dunno why people line up waiting to use Kotite references on any coach we get.

either way Rhodes will either man up or get shipped out, its as simple as that.

The best analogy of the Rhodes/Mauroney play is this- In American Gladiators, the last event (the Challenger?) has that part at the end where there are 4 "doors" that are really just paper and 2 of them have a gladiator behind them. The contestants pick one and the run through it at full speed, expecting a gladiator to be behind there every time. When there is no gladiator, the people always fall over anyway, because they were expecting to get hit hard. I wonder if we can talk to Gladiators and work out a trade, I'm sure Kerry would like that career better anyway

I wonder if part of Sherry's problem is the Vilma trade.

He was a much better player when he and Vilma used to watch film together.

Rhodes has earned his place next to Gholston on the pine. His play has fallen off considerably. He is the antithesis of what he was his first and second year. I have no issue with what Ryan has done or if he gets traded after the season. He has lost his mojo or heart; take your pick, but he is not even close to what he was.

His technique is wrong for several reasons.

First off, it isn't uncommon to see a CORNER (which Rhodes is not) lowering their head and making that bitch type of tackle where you try to up end the guy at the expense of making any type of impact on him. Rhodes, as a safety, really shouldn't be doing this in the first place.

    2. His legs are too wide. When you do this if you are too narrow you haven't broken down well and the runner, unless they are committed to running through you already, will just go around you. If you go too wide it makes your legs far weaker and makes it easier to get knocked on your ass.

    3. His right knee is bent in. If going to wide makes your body more likely to buckle, bending your knee makes it a certainty.

    4. Use your arms and WRAP UP THE FUCKING BALL CARRIER!! I won't elaborate on this, the dead horse has been sufficiently beaten.

I love the way you guys keep changing his name to Sherry to make it sound like a girl, like Kerry isn't already a girls name.
