It's over, these are always self fulfilling prophecies. You never see "Coach X will be fired if..." without seeing the coach fired shortly thereafter.

Beating your old team twice in my mind does not make you the better coach... heck I bet your X would enjoy sex with you more than with some random dude she just met cause you know what she likes and enjoys best... with Rex sure he knew what we were made of, he was our coach for six years. good thing for him he still makes the same mistakes he did back then... he has no clue how to adjust and excels in mediocrity. is he better NO was he knowledgeable YES put him up against any other team and he pulls the usual brain farts (to many men) (burning timeouts) etc ...

Yes TB has a lot to learn but keep in mind this was year one in a long term plan... we made huge strides and I'm ok with that.

I thought this game would sting for months but I'm over it... why who knows... maybe cause I'm so used to losing, we always come up one play short, one turning point away, where if it goes our way we're jumping for joy, but usually that moment never prevails.

That report was pulled back because it is untrue. Whaley is actually negotiating an extension as we speak.

Why would he be "fired already"?

It was enjoyable having an NFL offense this year, which was MIA most of the time Rex was here.

Yeah, I know the records. We'll disagree for now, not that I've decided Ryan is better, but I need to see more than one season with Bowles and I'd like to see a little emotion out of the guy from time to time. Even Mangini got pissed off every now and then.
And the paragraph above has been beaten to death around here and it's something I don't buy. No head coach stays on one channel when his team has the ball or is on defense, he has to plan ahead for the next change of possession; that was all blown out of proportion.

I loved our offense this year and want Fitz back for one more on the cheap, but I was very weary about a Gailey/Fitz offense vs a Rex/Thurman defense heading into the year as Rex usually dominated those chess matches in years past. Ultimately that's what did us in.

Hopefully Macc is smart and stocks up that OL or we'll keep losing to those dicks. Will be good to have Amaro back too.

I dont see why the gm would be fired,But i could easily see Rex being fired if they finish 8-8 or worse again.Especially since he guarnteed a playoff appearance .Rex hasnt had a winning record now in 5 straight seasons. And his history after going 8-8 isnt pretty

I could see that. I would probably keep him longer but I definitely could see that happening.

The report was denied by Pegula, because it looks bad. It was not " pulled back" by Carucci of the Buffalo News who reported it. You know its true, Pegula doesn't want it out there. But too late and Carucci is actually pretty reliable.
Plus it makes sense. Pegula has fired Sabres mgmt with years left on contracts before. Even right after an extension.

The Bills led the league in sacks last year with 54. This year they set a franchise low for sacks (I think 21) in a 16-game season lol

Likely a useless factoid, how often does a head coach move from one team to another in the same division? I can only think of Parcells so if there are only 5-10 instances since 1926 then it means nothing. Even in 1926 I don't see what NFL coach you could be thinking of.

So Ryan would have won 2 SBs with a QB who according to you sucks? Makes sense.

    Bottom line
Rex makes playoffs this year, or he's out. Regardless of what happens to Whaley

I've never said Fitzpatrick sucks. I don't even think Fitzpatrick sucks; that's how I know I didn't say it. I think he's slightly below average. Geno sucks. Sanchez sucks.
