Yep, especially considering shitty weather forecast. The early promise is snow, so pass game will be problematic.

I predicted 11-5 at the beggining of the year and Rex isn't getting in the way of that.....Fitz is also used to the cold weather up there and hopefully him and Gailey will be extra motivated in there old house that kicked them out the door

ah, so you're the other person that voted for 11-5 with me over in the prediction thread. I admit I was being a little homerish at the time and wanted to rally against the doom and gloomers in the thread.

Bro, we lost our starting QB in training camp so don't even give me the injury excuse.

I think I said 11-5 and a win in the playoffs,It looked possible with the schedule and honestly we could have been 12-4 but that would have been a reach. The talent has been there since week 1 its not a big surprise. The big surprise is how good Fitz has been and the Fitz to Marshall factor

Rex has one hell of an office there in Buffalo! Looks like a cubical I worked in once as a telemarketer. Minus the foot thing.

Fitz SUCKED in the cold weather in Buffalo.

Yeah, I guess he used to it, but he wasn't good in it.

EDIT: Look at his SPLITS stats. Under 40 degrees, his turnovers skyrocket.

same old broken record from rex.

Pre-game: They're going to get our best shot.
Post-game: Obviously you've got to credit the other team. This one hurts there's no way around it.

Yeah we lost to BUF earlier this year, but it was at the bottom of our slump, and they still barely won the game. Jets are going to SMOKE Buffalo.

Look up SPLITS stats of Buffalo playoff appearance vs no playoff appearance since 1999.

The Bills didn't even beat the Jets last game. The Jets beat themselves. 4 turnovers, numerous big mistakes. Buffalo had no business even being in that game. I do not think this upcoming game will be similar. The Jets are healthy and have momentum. When they played the Bills last time, they were all banged up and missing some critical pieces. I'm used to predicting disappointment, but in this case I think the Jets win in a blowout.

Brace yourself - when Rex is done with coaching, he has exactly the type of personality that some network loser will try to set up with some new type of cartoony ex-coach shtick. Think John Madden, who really invented the role of ex-coach analyst mixing chalk-talk with buffoonery. Although his gig evolved more organically. In the NHL, think Don Cherry. College football - Lee Corso. College basketball - Dick Vitale. Baseball writers won't ever allow *their* goddamn poetry reading to be sullied by entertainment, but ESPN tried to do something once with Bobby Valentine on a fistful of downers. And Rex might just be smart enough to have this all figured out already, which is why he'll keep showing up to the podium in wigs and football helmets and other such props. Consistency is important. Act like an ass once and you're just an ordinary ass. World's full of them. Act like an ass EVERY day of the year and you're in rarefied air: a colorful, potentially marketable "character." Few have the sort of stamina it takes to pull it off. Better still, if you could match him up with a doofus twin brother.

I'd like to think this is all far-fetched, but if I told you that the Bills and Jets would dress up like idiots in prime time and fuck over the entire colorblind world at the same time, you might just accuse me of going overboard. Truth is, there are a gazillion marketing creeps buzzing around the NFL like flies on a coiled-up pile of dog shit, and they're just itching to find some new angle to advance their careers and fuck up the game that we all love. Since God hates me and hates the Jets, all we can really do is wait and hope the rapture has already been scheduled and gets here first.

Ha, yeah. If nothing else Rex has made himself wealthy. I guess you gotta give him credit for that.

But this off- season when he's off sky diving, and running with the bulls in Capistrano, and clowning around in general, Belichik, and Coughlin, and most of the other Coaches will be trying to figure what they can do to get better, and what changes they need to make to get better.

Fuck Rex. He'll just be another blathering bs artist on tv and the radio that I can't stomach. You can see it coming

I made this same point in one of the other forums. Rex is so good at this, he'll even drop an excuse in the context of not making any excuses. As in: "I'm not going to complain about the refs; they work hard too." Or, "I could stand up here and tell you that the weather was the problem today, but I won't." Or, "We can't blame injuries because every team deals with them; but I just wish we had a chance to see what this team could do with everyone healthy."

My own favorite Rex-cuse for 2015: "The schedulers haven't done us any favors." How fucking great is THAT?!
