Yeah, I posted this in the wrong area because I didn't realize there was a thread for him already, and he is after all Jets related, from the past and now he's still in the same division. But maybe this can be the thread just for comments after his games where you say "Uh huh...seen that before!" Romo got hurt today, all it takes is a key injury or two and it changes *everything*. Ron
500 yards, priceless. Even though he's wearing Bills blue I still can't stomach his pressers. That " its all on me " shit is insufferable.
It's the Patriots division ...today's game wasn't as close as the final score...466 yards for Brady....Gronk unstoppable ...their def front seven is damn good as well....but Brady will always be the difference between NE and the rest of the AFC East...the race for second may be wide open... Good thing Ryan thought about going "home early" this past week because he had the "plan ready" for the Patriots.
Our line is superior to Buffalo's , they lost because they didn't get consistent pressure on Brady. We all know when Brady gets rattled he's prone to mistakes and our 2ndary will make him pay. Gailey will exploit their weak DB's and our big physical receivers will give them fits all day. You have to be disciplined to beat the Pats and we all know a REX coached team lacks discipline. A team takes on the personality of their coach and imo Bowles will have our guys focused and ready to play.
"we'd go out there and play them again right now" "we gotta get better next week and we will." So glad we have Bowles.
The Bills have been on a rollercoaster the last couple of weeks. That's Rex to a T. You have to approach every game the same way or the burden on the players to self regulate becomes very heavy. Rex doesn't regulate well for his teams to date. Too many highs and too many lows that follow. Everybody is happy during the bye week and then low the week after. A couple of Bills said the team was too high emotionally for the game. That's like a flashing red light for Rex that he needs to settle down before his team starts caroming around the curves in the schedule ahead.
It does seem like his teams feed off of his bipolar energy, another in the list of HC drawbacks he has. We saw that way too much here.
It's kind of surprising that 70000+ fans seem to have forgotten that their former head coach Doug Marrone out-coached their new coach 3 times in a row, blowing out the Jets by 20+ points each time. 2013 2014 Simmer down Bills fans.
Odd statement considering ... (a) We had a season of Hard Knocks and it demonstrated the complete opposite of your premise, and (b) Miami made the exact same types of mistakes this past offseason that the Jets made for years while Tanny was here (overpay a below average QB for no reason, for example)
Of course, the Pats had 11 penalties, so that means Belichick is a super-dooper-dogsh-t coach, too right? On a related note, the funniest thing that happened yesterday was Brady bitching about the officiating when the Bills got called for 14 penalties; what a whiny bitch.
If he manages to stop the high passes down the middle he might do fine for the season. His deep throws are nice and probably the only thing he does really well so far.
I thought 466 yards was pretty funny considering that Rex said before the game that Bills could have a historic defense. Brady owns this division, so nothing new there. Also you have Fitzpatrick, which is downright hilarious. We have Tannehill which is a tragedy. Although still better than anything the Jets can muster at QB.
I don't see any difference between Tannehill and Fitzpatrick ... other than that albatross of a contract that Tannehill just got. They are both bad.
Time to let it go, especially you guys rooting for the Pats?!?! There were good exciting times and bad times....... just like an ex girlfriend. I don't give a shit about them anymore either. Even the real hot ones and above, I'd take Tannehill in a second.
