With all due respect, that would have to be the worst Haka you could imagine. You don't grin or smile your way through a Haka - it is a serious expression of pride and heritage, and in the form of the 'Ka Mate' that is performed by Kiwi sporting sides, sets the tone for what the opposition are in for during the contest that follows. The Haka is a tradition that stretches back many centuries, and when performing it you are meant to be infused with the spirit of your ancestors, not grinning your way through it like a fool. Here is the All-Blacks, the Kiwi rugby side performing the Haka as it should be performed: The Haka
^that's badass...we should start that in the NFL...guess our version is talking smack through the press:wink:
It would send shivers of a different sort if you were playing against them and had to watch it from the distance of a couple of meters!
I was also going to say , anyone who faces them after that gets mucho kudos. When I stayed in Mackay (Qld) the Islanders played the local team , and they did a version of it , had the same affect though.
I don't know how much our American friends know about Rugby , But I'm sure that not too many would have ever seen or heard of the haka. Some governing body will sooner or later ban it for being incitefull :shit:
Ah well its only the Boks (shit they just hammered us , lol) sensitive lot  I remember that and all the kafuffle it caused. It definatley does get under the oppositions skin , so why watch it?
Ben Graham should know it already, or at least alot of it... My teammate used to do it before every game....crazy intimidating if you can get a whole team doing it...
There are videos of him on youtube doing it and there is no smiling going on in those videos. This seems like a PR thing that the Jets put on and told him to make it PG. Jesus that #12 from the Kiwis is a monster, we should sign him to play LB
