The thing that really sucks here is the Pats will get a slap on the wrist here. I would love to see them have to forfeit the game but we all know thats not going to happen. Pats fans have no leg to stand on here. They can say whatever they want about other teams doing it but the fact is, they got caught. 100s of MLB players did juice, yet Bonds and onlya couple others got named so they are the ones who get the brunt. To me, it seems very odd how the Pats play so even with everyone in the first half, then at haltime or in the 4th, they come out and pull these 'miracles' out of their asses.

As a Jets fan, I'm mostly concerned with whatever is going on with the Jets, but I couldn't be more happier to see the Pat's "dynasty" crumble. If they've been caught doing this a whopping 4 times, just think how many times they've gotten away with it!!!
Hahahahahahahhahhahahaa. YES. This will taint the organization for a long time. First game out of the box too wow. Kudos to Eric Mangini and the Jets management for catching these jerk offs. We didn't win the game, but this is a victory of sorts.
^ Kudos to Manretard? Belly has been doing this for years – and Manstupid is one of the few with direct first hand knowledge of it going on. He had his signs stolen all game by someone whom he knows as a cheater. I don’t see how you don’t hold him at least partially responsible. So he ratted after the fact? Nice adjustment douche bag.
Perhaps – but it is on him; Mangini has conceivably cheated with the chicken in the past; he should have had his eye open for it. Edit: and if not cheated – Belly cheating has been the scuttlebutt around the league for years. I just don’t understand how you can be so phucking stupid – I mean everyone knows someone who does something shady…when your around that dude simple self preservation dictates that you look out for that shady activity…at least in my case. I’m defiantly more pissed at Mandumbass than Belly; it would have been a different story if he know it was coming, used it to his advantage and then got him busted.
OK, so has the league officially acknowledged that something went on? Will the Pats have to sacrafice picks next year? Will Kraft get fined?
-- Belichick Illegally Taping Opposing Coaches since his Cleveland Days -- Wed Sep 12, 2007 The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Steelers assistant coaches said privately that New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick has illegally used cameras to spy on opposing coaches flashing signals from the sideline for years, even when he was coach of the Cleveland Browns. The NFL has confiscated a video camera and its contents from a Patriots employee who was standing on the sideline during New England's victory against the New York Jets Sunday, recording hand signals by Jets coaches, according to an ESPN report. The Patriots reportedly were warned about a previous use of a camera in a similar situation in Green Bay after the Packers escorted the cameraman from the field. A Boston Globe report also said the Buffalo Bills complained that the Patriots used a camera in a game against them last year. Steelers coaches, who asked not to be identified, have suspected for a long time that the Patriots used such a device to gain an illegal advantage, although they did not file a complaint with the league. One assistant said the Steelers changed their defensive signals whenever they played against New England because of their suspicions. New Steelers HC Mike Tomlin did not outright accuse New England of cheating, but said that the rumors have been around and "where there is smoke, there's fire." Tomlin, at his press conference yesterday, responded to the allegations that the Patriots have used cameras illegally to focus on opposing coaches along the sideline in order to steal their signals. "You hear rumors of things of that nature. It's nothing new. In terms of confirming it, it's never been confirmed in any instance to my knowledge. But usually where there is smoke, there's fire. Those rumors are founded on something. So it's not totally shocking, no."
THe only just punishment is as follows. Forfeit. They Cheated, plain and simple, and got caught. The difference in that game was the Jets defense being held at bay by the Patriots, which was the, the object of their cheat. No getting around it. Coaching staff 4 game suspension. The Organization should also forfeit the Home field for the next game. The Patriots would have to refund one Home game worth of $$$$, and the Jets would be able to sell another home game. That also gives the Patriots a chance to get back the forfeit (sort of...) by winning honestly on the road, in which case the forfeit evens out in the W/L column.
You're dreaming. This will result in fines and/or draft pick losses. That's about it. Belichick being suspended for a game or two is a remote possibility. The Pats will continue to surge despite this.
Pats fans should be as pissed about this as any other fan. Doesn't it piss you off that the dynasty is completely tainted now?
Of course not. They still won those titles, and they can never be taken away. Even if Barry Bonds gets an asterisk in the record books, he still holds the record. Cheating pays dividends as long as you don't get caught. Why would a fan of that franchise regret the 3 recent celebrations of greatness? Besides, when there are even Jets fans who believe the cheating didn't actually effect the outcome of the game, why should any Pats fan believe it did?
