You do realize the Pats are going absolutely no where in the playoffs this year, right?

    Why?! Why?! Why?!

Does Schotty hate our offense so much? He is the dumbest football coach in the history of the game. We get a nice rushing 1st and immediately he tries a stupid gadget play?

Not when perfectly good threads are buried by really dumb threads like these. Its not like this is a "once in a blue moon" thread for him. He's a serial offender.

I agree there are certainly enough 'crap' threads. But if they are as crappy as we think, they soon sink off the page.
Some of these are just a bit of fun, like the VG one , WOW VG made a tackle  .....yes it did make front page news

Bengals, Bills, Manning. 3 topics, 1 thread

Topic 1: The Bengals have a sad history of facing Pitt in the playoffs (see Palmer's knee scar). The only way Pitt 'gets in' is if the Jets lose (ie, Bengals win). So, by resting their starters the bungles stay healthy AND they keep Pitt out of the playoffs. Look for 85 and Palmer to be playing cards on the bench sunday night.

Topic 2: For any Bills fans lurking, lets see what you can do against the Colts knowing that Manning is only going to play a few series. I predict Painter will beat you down like a red headed step child.

Topic 3: Here's my theory for the week: Payton Manning, having scored only 15 pts in 3 qtrs, sensed the Jets coming on strong and headed for a victory. So....manning 'opted out' to avoid the embarasment of losing the team's first game of the season. He had the perfect 'out' and he took it.

that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

To see his expression on the sideline, either he's the world's best actor, or he wanted to keep playing.

Topic 3 is ridiculous. He had the 15-10 lead, and the fact he was a little off meant it could have been much worse. If anything, he probably wanted to stay in so he could correct the little miscues he was having. Don't be foolish about him wanting to "opt out." It was totally the coach's decision.
