I pretty happy that we are addressing the pass rush, welcome to the team, Gholston. Hope you don't bust.

    Well, Well, Well,
Gholston was the pick, so much for all of the talk about the Jets moving up to take Matt Ryan and there lack of faith in Clemens.
I was never in love with guys that are work out warriors unless that is translated to the field. I will hold judgement on this pick until I see if this kid can bring it EVERY Sunday.

Yet, the way the draft fell, this may have been the best scenario for the NYJets, short of an offer to trade down for more picks. We fill a spot of need with the perceived 2nd best DE in the draft project to play LB in our system, which many experts expect him to do very well in.

    So far so good.......

I was one of the people pulling for McFadden. But he was clearly the best player on the board at the time, so I'm pretty satisfied. Of course I'll be a lot more satisfied when I see Brady lying flat on his back.

They say he is still learning, because he has only been playing football for 4 years...He has the most upside in the draft and has the athletic ability to play de in the 4-3 or OLB @ 3-4...In his interview on the radio they asked him about taking plays off and disappearing and he said NO, he was double teamed, go look at the tape..Sounds confident and hopefully can walk the walk

No one commented on Cakes' outburst earlier? lol...well uh, I'm just glad it wasn't Mckelvin, I didn't care for any of the corners this year, despite it being a somewhat important need (just not in the 1st).

Its been so long since we have had a pass rush. I am thrilled with the pick. He is a little raw but his potential is crazy. Its a huge peice of the puzzle and will make our secondary shine.

I remember seeing a youtube clip not too long ago where Gholston pretty much runs right over Jake Long (pushes him right into the QB) I mean he just pushed him into the backfield. And this was ther #1 pick in the entire draft today, Gholston had the strength to completely dominate him.
