That's a bad trade for you. Don't do it. LaMont's value is very low right now, especially with Rhodes honing in on his carries. Steve Smith is better than Fitzgerald. Northcutt is worthless. Norwood could become the #1 at some point this season and is always a threat for a crazy random TD run. And Chatman is starting now. Don't do it.
That offer is just as bad as the first. Why do you want LaMont? Chatman and Norwood are both better options AND you're giving up a solid WR3 in the process. Withdraw the offer!
Anyways, for those of you that have been following my keeper league trade drama, I made the Marvin Harrison and the Dallas Clark trade. So my team went from looking like this: P Rivers D Huard Willie Parker Portis & Betts Brandon Jacobs KJones J Norwood L Fitzgerald M Colston B Marshall S McDonald A Crumpler to this P Rivers D Huard K Jones DeAnge Williams J Norwood Randy Moss Terrell Owens Marvin Harrison S McDonald Dallas Clark I've come a long way, baby. I put in a couple waiver claims that may go through tomorrow. I might get Chatman but there are two guys ahead of me. After that, I'm gonna grab Andre Davis, Muhsin Muhammad, and Jay Cutler (or some combo of those guys depending on what's available). My team has not been doing well so, at the least, I have Marvin, TO, and Randy as my keepers for next year if they stay healthy. What do you guys think?
he declined the trade and said he wants 3 out of norwood, chatman, berrian and cotch for lamont+northcut. so we couldn?t agree to a deal. i?m now trading morency for selvin young. that should also solve my problem. (y didn?t i think about thatone first?!?)
i have been offered Steven Jackson for Lynch. after the Ronnie injury, i?m very slim at RB, i have Lynch, chatman, Norwood, A. Green and DeAngelo. So it?s very risky trading my #1 RB for somone, who didn?t show anything this season, yet. But on the other hand, ti?s Steven Jackson. But Lynch has great machtups the next few weeks, i really don?t know what to do. i tend to decline the trade.
Yeah, that's why I was hands down for the Harrison trade, because RB's aren't doing crap this year and if you start 3 WRs, your starting crew would be amazing.
This is a really tough one. If SteveJak can come back to form, he's obviously way better than Lynch. But Lynch is healthy. I tend to go for the safe option so I wouldn't make the trade but it's definitely compelling.
Yeah. We start 3. With Moss, TO, and Marvin, I easily have the best WR corps. On the other hand, I have to start DeAnge Williams. Should be interesting.
Dude, hang on to Lynch! He hasn't had favorable matchups in the past, even so, ran for 80 and 70 yards against the Ravens and Patriots. His schedule only gets easier from now on, he should tear the Jets up this week. Lastly, the Rams are having trouble passing, Leonard hasn't been able to do shit, surely Leonard is no Jackson but still it alludes to the fact that defenses are stacking the box on the Rams and there are no holes to run through. decline that shit.
I would definitely do it. Gates has the value of a top WR (a lot better than Chambers) & the way Kevin Jones has been playing recently he has about equal value to Lynch.
that?s what i thought, too. but that was only one of 2 trades this guy offered me, the other one looks pretty good, too: chamber + chatman for KJones (he?s very high on chambers after the trade and doesn?t trust jones) so this is baisicly th question which one makes my team better: RB#1: KJones RB#2: Chatman TE: Gates or RB#1: Lynch RB#2: KJones TE: Davis/Watson
Depends on who your 3rd RB is (or maybe first). Do you need both Lynch and KJones to start? If not, go for the Gates deal.
Sounds like you do need both Lynch and KJones to start. Still, Gates is really hard to pass up, especially if you are in a points per reception league. I'd still go for the Gates deal. But if RBs are heavily favored in your league, the other one looks good too.
