It would not shock me the least bit at all if they did, Petine wasnt the guy they wanted. The rest of the coaches got hired, and the rest of them turned the Browns down. That left the Browns in a dis-favorable position, they ended up hiring Petine more or less because they had to hire a head coach. None of the other teams would have even considered Petine, he landed the Browns job because he was the best option in the limited pick of the litter. He might turn out to be a good head coach, but who knows. I am hoping Petine fails, he was a snake, and a loser imo.

You're comparing him to one of the smartest and most polished college QBs since Luck. Teddy was/is an anomaly.

For a guy that came out of nowhere, he really has played quite well this year. I have no problem with them skinning down the play book and giving him easy throws to make.

When he gets his feet under him and he learns the position and the game slows down, he's going to be really really good.

He and Roethlisberger had almost identical college stats. And he's more athletic than Ben.

I'm comparing him to a QB in the same draft class that was taken in the 2nd round.

So you take a QB 3rd overall and you have no problem that he can only handle the simple plays and easy throws?

When Stephen Hill learns to catch and run routes he's going to be really good.

So does Jason Campbell. Ben had a faster 40 time and was 20 lbs heavier.

Come on, Stokes. At least let the prospects you are gushing over become average quarterbacks before you start building pedestals for them.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but using terms like "anomaly" and "unique" makes it sound like you have information everyone else doesn't.

No reason not to believe in this QB draft class, but if I believe what you are saying, we're looking at the best draft class since 83.

It's not about being right or wrong, it's about who guessed right or who guessed wrong.

When I use terms like anomaly or unique that's my opinion. Just like my opinion that 2013 was a weak QB class and not the year to draft a QB and 2014 was a strong QB class and the year to draft a QB, that's my opinion.

This class, IMHO is so much better than anything we saw out of any QB drafted last year, I think the play is so much better already than anything we saw last year and I think it's just going to continue from here.

But that's just my opinion. It's a guess.

Btw, saying Bortles has been bad is lolworthy.

But that's just my opinion. Another guess.

All kinds of screens and slants. He just threw short passes:

Edit: nevermore. The bomb video to Marquise Lee he threw isn't working.

That's a long slant really. Or a REALLY long screen.

    "Bad"?!?

    Too funny.

UDFA Stephen Morris cut by Jags.

I'd guess he'll be added to their practice squad.
