Connor said that? Well, that must be the deciding factor. Close the thread! How could anyone in their right mind disagree with the inimitable Connor J Rogers? Let's face it, Rogers must have ten or fifteen years experience watching NFL football since middle school. Who could compete with that level of experience, knowledge, training and insight?
Your loss. It was a fine display of the thespian prowess of one Alex Karas; far superior to his work on that television show where he bought a smart little black kid to keep around the house.
Jeff Saturday just on with Michael Kaye--he played for both Caldwell and McCarthy. Said both would be great developing Sam. Said McCarthy would be better for a young team and Caldwell better for a veteran team. Didn't like playing for McCarthy later in his career because of that but loved Caldwell.
Gotta say, I don't find most Mel Brooks films to stand the test of time. Other than Young Frankenstein, I find most really boring and unfunnny. I've seen clips of Blazing Saddles that folks have raved about and I've found them very underwhelming. History of the World? Had to turn it off.
Call me ignorant, but Robby comes off as a dude that checks out once the season ends. Like, you don't hear from him as a coach until the spring. The connection could prove interesting tho.
Don't even remember History of the World except for the title. If I saw any of it, it wasn't worth remembering. Saddles is a true comedy classic. The guy knows how to work those clichés.
as it stands there isn't anyone on that poll that I feel great about - need to read more about Monken
