    Wait, you think a discussion about the Jets picking their head coach, the guy who is going to mold the Golden Child into the next great QB and take us to multiple Super Bowls is more important than that somebodies feelings got hurt?

    What's good with Gregg Williams? I know the Browns did the right thing and formally 'interviewed him', but has he gained interest anywhere else? Wonder if he can be brought in as a DC still.

    This search could go pretty quickly could it not?

    In the past you had to wait for playoff teams to be eliminated so you could grab their assistants but it doesn’t appear the Jets are interested in any of those guys. Could they have a new coach by next week??

    Where are all those John Morton supporters ? Lots we're guaranteeing he would be the hottest name this cycle. I remember one claiming he would even win the Super Bowl .

    The more I think about it, the more I like hiring Mike McCarthy. He's won the superbowl, consistently made it to the playoffs and dominated his division. We shouldn't be overthinking this. The only question for me is if he wants the job. If he doesn't then I think we need to be more thoughtful, but right now, the simplest solution is the best. McCarthy should be our next coach.

So please don’t continue with the racism, Rooney Rule discussion. Sorry to be an asshole but whoever posts anout Rooney Rule or racism after this message will benched for a few days. You don’t want to miss out when Jets anounce the new HC.

    I read on twitter from a UK Jets fan page that McCarthy postponed his interview with Cleveland and is first going to visit with the Jets ... I’ll see if I can find it and post it .
