this is the Jets - we are screwed no matter who we sign, who we draft or what we do - full on SOJF mode engaged for the remainder of 2012 season :(

Sign or trade for Titus Young. He could use change in scenery from Detroit. Worst case scenario Titus will be Santonio's mini me.

as unlikely as it is, find a way to get Jake Long. I would also NOT resign Keller, and instead draft a TE and sign a veteran like Todd Heap.

I really don't understand the dislike of Keller, he's been the #1 or #2 leading receiver in yards and or catches every year he's been a Jet, until this year anyways. And people want to improve the recieving corp by getting rid of the most consitantly performing receiver? Yeah, that makes sense.

I can tell you right now we are NOT going after a big name WR. It's going to be Holmes, Hill, and Kerley as our top 3. And honestly, if Hill progresses just a little, that's a solid group.

So anyone hoping for a big name receiver just forget about it now because it'll just lead to disappointment. And to the guy who suggested Titus Young, no thanks he has diva and team cancer written all over him.

I was joking, we tried the Tone experiment. Shocked Titus Young became this big of a Diva, he was quiet at Boise.

Titus Young hurt his knee and is out for the season

Julian Edelman is UFA -- out for the season with a foot injury now but is a versatile player that could be a #3 opposite Holmes and kerley.

I think he's worse then Santonio, dude rigged the entire Lions passing offense, by running the wrong routes and lining up in the wrong spot. PASS with a capital P baby

    Laron Landry.

If Sanchez had any arm strength (or accuracy) I would say: Mike Wallace.

Oh, he's still number 2 this year, with like 300 something yards.

Does anybody know a good website that has players ranked by salary & then sorted into positions? Would be even better if salary cap hits were also included. This site is really good but only has salaries up to 2009--> http://theredzone.org/salaryshowposition.aspx?position=LB

Something with current salaries would be much more useful for us. Sorry but I've been searching for internet for a while & my google kung fu is failing

I've found http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nfl/2013/cap-hit/cornerback/ but it only gives the top ten salaries.

    btw,
looks like Revis should be getting about 15M if he's in the ballpark of highest paid CB. Which gives Jets $25M @ their starting CB.
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/antonio-cromartie/ but Cro contract last season is 2014

Isn't Mendenhall a FA after this year? He would be 2 years removed from his knee injury. He's only 25, and would be better than anything we have right now.

Cheap WR, Louis Murphy is a good WR that can be had on the cheap.

I don't know how but if they can sign Greg Jennings you do it. Great route runner and will improve the offense leaps and bounds. Very likely Green Bay doesn't sign him with their depth at WR.
