looks really good, LT, McGahee and MJD are a very good RB set. WRs won?t win you games, but they won?t loose them, too. Maybe you could try to trade one of your D?s for a better TE or K.
that WR set ist awsome, your biggest concern is, that you only have 1 RB that?s gonna get the full load. Maybe you could try to make trade, to get nother RB that?ll get all the carries, like edge, green or lewis. Keeping Hold over T. Jones was a good decition, imo.
What does everyone think of my team? QB - Jake Delhomme HB - Willie Parker HB - Laurence Maroney WR - Reggie Wayne WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh WR - Reggie Brown TE - Alge Crumpler K - Neil Rackers D - Jaguars B - Chad Pennington B - Ronnie Brown B - Jerious Norwood B - Priest Holmes B - Jerricho Cotchery B - Calvin Johnson B - Panthers
8 Team League: QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1W/R, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF, 6Bench QB: Donovan McNabb RB: Steven Jackson RB: Joseph Addai WR: Torry Holt WR: Terrell Owens W/R: Brian Westbrook TE: Todd Heap Bench: Thomas Jones Lee Evans Adrian Peterson Matt Leinart Jason Witten K: Nate Kaeding DEF: Pittsburgh Bench: Green Bay
8 team league teams are usually stacked, but I think you just took the trpphy for "Most Stacked Team Ever". If you lose even a single game I will be absolutely shocked
Just drafted last night 12 team. 1 pt per 10 yds rushing/receiving and 25 yds passing. 6 per rushing/receiving TD. 4 per passing TD. QB-Kitna RB-LT RB-Benson WR-Wayne WR-Plax WR-Terry Glenn TE-Shockey K-Nugent DEF-Minny BN-Deuce McAllister BN-Donte Stallworth BN-Favre BN-Brandon Jones BN-Matt Jones BN-Michael Turner
Yea, I'm thin at WR because I took deuce in the 4th and then Shockey in the 6th. With Deuce the value was just too good. It also allowed me to basically ignore RB for the rest of the draft just taking Turner as LT's handcuff. I took Shockey over another WR because I figured that at that point all the WRs were the same so it was better to get a top TE that might put up WR2 numbers.
Heres my team. I think I had a pretty good draft. QB's - Drew Brees, Vince Young, Eli Manning RB - Steven Jackson, Chester Taylor, Willis McGahee WR - Donald Driver, Lav Coles, Terry Glenn, Darrell Jackson, Derrick Mason TE - Ben Watson, Chris Baker (Serious need for an upgrade) K - Josh Scobee DEF - Baltimore A drafter made the stupid mistake of taking Gates and Heap. He told someone else he would be willing to give up Gates for Larry Fitzgerald. I said wait a minute I'll give you Terry Glenn and Chris Baker who is a possible sleeper. Terry Glenn is a better fantasy player than Fitz. This guy would get 2 players 1 of which could statistically replace Gates and another who could pay dividends. I want to make the trade because I feel gates would make my team the most balanced in the league. What do you guys think?
What is your format? Do you start 2 QBs? How many teams? Assuming its 1 QB, I would recommend trading one of your top two (VY or Brees) for a RB or WR as those positions seem weak to me. I like Taylor as a RB3, but as an RB2 he seems shaky. Your WRs seem OK but not great. Driver is more of a high quality WR2 to me and Coles is a decent WR2 IMO. As far as your trade is concerned, Glenn is no where near the player that Fitz is. You must be joking. Fitz for Gates straight up would be a good trade. Gates for Glenn and Baker would be a joke.
1 qb 12 teams. looking at the other teams i have the most balanced out there. the combination of those 3 recievers would make up for 1 great reciever and 2 average in a 12 team league. there is depth in this team which gives me the option to shake and bake the lineup. believe me if you saw the other teams and how everyone else drafted i would say i am top 2 in this league
I wouldn't do this. First, your starting QB should be Kitna. Cutler is a downgrade from him, and a little bit of an upgrade over Berger. Stallworth is a significant step down from Coles IMO.
Honestly guys your not going to win your leagues with all jets. I kinda laughed when I saw some of your teams that have Pnningotn coles cotchery jkones nugent and jets D all on the same team. I dont draft homer at all.
