I haven't bought a shred of NY Jets gear in over a decade. That stat will continue to grow. Actually, if they bring Glenn back in 2026, that stat will end along with my Jets Fandom.

Let's hope this is what Woody will say to Glenn a week from today...

Just looking at Glenn's career, he was a DC/HC for 5 years and defenses are ranked in points as follows: 31, 28, 23, 7, 30. In average 24th, bottom 3d with 3 of 5 year bottom 5 in the NFL. We do know he did a good job as a DB coach for Sean Peyton.

I think this is classic Peter's principle. Glenn is a very good DB coach, and really that's where I think he should be in the NFL next season. He could do a really solid job there and help. As DC he can do the job, but you are hiring bottom 3d DC, which is not disastrous, but not ideal either. And as HC he is a complete disaster of historic proportions.

I really feel the jury is out on Glenn. Even when I wanted to tank, I wanted to have competitive losses. But at this point, I think as Jets fans we should root for the Bills back-up to blow out this coach. Maybe if Woody sees that back-ups on another team still embarrass Glenn, he will make the change. He has to go, no matter what.

His career as a D coordinator definitely didn't seem great from the outside. His last game he allowed over 50 points I'm pretty sure. Saleh was a better D coordinator than Glenn.

As has been said we fired a defensive coach for a worse defensive coach. I'm in favor of giving a guy time to make it work but Glenn hasn't done anything to instill confidence in the fans.
He's schtick with the media isn't helping him last here

Refusing to pad Woody's pocket is the only weapon we as fans have. I truly hope, fans, will stop giving him what he wants until he either sells or things finally look like a professional fucking football team. I'm over it.

He doesn't need any of that and hasn't for a long time. His team has never won anything and it's now in the top 10 most valuable sports franchises in existence on planet Earth. There's no lesson the fans can teach him outside of fan-funded billboards and the like that aren't nearly as effective as people think.

It's a branch of a 200 billion dollar corporation. That's what we're rooting for at this point. He has no external incentive at all to sell the team. The Jets' financial success actually made it possible for him to buy another sports franchise lol.

Well, the dude is too much of a dipshit to hurt his ego.. Despite the evidence, he'll continue thinking he belongs. The system sucks, man.

It's never felt like this before as a fan. For me. It should be impossible for this outcome to be where we are as fans of this team. This consistently, for this long... Where is the law of averages at this point?

It just feels like this team will never be consistently good with this owner. I think that is where the real impossible feeling lies, yet, there is no real solution to the problem.

    Checkmate, I guess.

I feel like that every fucking day... I still haven't been able to pull the trigger on it. This team doesn't deserve us fans man... Straight up.

The momentum is building, there is a small ray hope. I hate to say it, but it really sucks though that Allen missed wide open WR for the 2 point conversion at the end in Philly. If he hits, they are playing full strength with division not decided and that would ensure we get blown out. Now Glenn will go against back-ups. He is still probably going to lose, but this is NFL, even the worst teams can upset good teams on occasion. It's against back-ups, and also Buffalo might not even give up their schematic strategies either, saving for play-offs.

We cannot rule this out, our STs step up, Glenn beats Buffalo's back-ups, who are playing preseason vanilla schemes, fucks our draft position and a chance at a good QB, and then sells Woody on the progress made and ship turning starting now.

The next Blowout loss might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Woody might be the most PR sensitive Owner outside of Jerry Jones and at the moment, his Glenn hire is generating a ton of bad vibes in every media outlet. Then there is the chance the Jets let their only marketable player walk in FA (Breece) and JetNation will go into full on revolt. It will not be pretty and Woody might have to ask for fewer televised games.

We can't really hurt Woody financially but he's an insecure dork who reallllly wants to be cool so it is possible to embarrass him into action. Empty stadiums, billboards, skywriting, etc. It's not much but it's the best tool we have.
