I think it's pretty obvious that they're picking a QB with the 2nd round pick and felt 35 was just too high.
I would imagine picking a QB at 53 is probably too high as well. Especially with our HOF calibre QB's already on the payroll..
There's going to be mass suicides and alot of pissed off people if they a. draft another O Lineman b. trade out of the damn 2nd round completely.
ESPN is acting like this is their first Draft coverage ever. Completely unorganized and they have NOT been informative in a timely fashion.
I wonder what GB got for the trade with Atl. They collected NE's 2nd and 3rd in the other deal. I wonder what they got for this one.
You know Cman? I honestly thought perhaps we'd be going after a QB sometime today, after whats happening I really really believe they are thinking these QBs are HOF Caliber. I think we're not drafting a QB at all today or tommorow
I don't know about rebuilding, that's more a college football thing IMO. But you are very right, we have very good recievers, TEs, a decent fullback, 2 former 1st rd QBs, and both a young runner with experience and a HOF RB. With a line to play behind and a defense full of talent needing only to play up to its potential...we'll be okay. Maybe a few more OL today and tomorrow and some backups.
are we sure NEXT year isn't the draft with the most depth? because it seems everybody is trading their picks this year to stockpile picks for next year.
