Jets at 25/1 is a worth a shot. Not saying that will win but they are better than people realize. I would not be surprised at all if they got hot and made a run

Ovechkin is the man. Not liking those 18/1 Caps odds. Thought they would be higher. I don't get how Ottawa and Pittsburgh is higher. Cool though. Let's play some hockey!

I agree, no idea why Pens have higher odds then Caps. Maybe they won one before that might be it

Barry Trotz has done a remarkable job this year and deserves a lot of credit

No doubt about it. Great hire. Good to see Ovechkin has bought in too.
I agree with almost all of that.
Are the Wild better than I think?

There are always a few upsets. I have to pick one or two and the Blues always let me down in the playoffs.

That being said it's always LA that boots them and they aren't in this year. We'll see what happens.

Blues are starting Jake Allen and Canucks are going with Eddie Lack per the Twitter.

My top contenders for the Cup:

Rangers, Anaheim, and the winner of the Minnesota/St. Louis series

Yeah, really was. 3 great games last night. Habs win 4-3 over Sens, Blackhawks 4-3 2OT win over Preds, and Flames last second winner over Canucks 2-1. Also 1 terrible game which I attended: 4-1 Isles over hapless Caps.

real interesting round 1 matchups across the board this year..

enjoyed watching Chicago Nashville last night. that will be a great series.
Isles Caps good, and Rangers Penguins tonite also good from rivalry perspective.

Ottawa Montreal might end up being the most hostile series.
another Canadian matchup out west with Vancouver and Calgary.
Minnesota St. Louis reminds me of the old Norris division (which it were still the Northstars tho)..

glad to see Winnipeg back in it. hope they can pull the upset.

even Detroit Tampa has the Yzerman element...and a very impressive Tampa team.

first year i can remember that i will try to watch as much of every series as i can..

Mark Stone has right wrist fracture after getting slashed by P.K. Subban...so unlike Subban to play dirty, will they suspend that fuckin' dirtbag...tough break for Sens

they have to suspend him... imo 2 games.

funny thing is Subban was freaking out when Stone came back into game, assuming he was faking being hurt.
guess he wasn't faking anything... it was a dirty shot.

No suspension, what a joke, this is another shining example of why the NHL gets no respect...if Subban sucked he would have gotten games
