Two dropped points in eight days against the Laffs is probably going to kill us. If your lot could lay down and die on Thursday LIKE YOU DID IN EVERY OTHER FUCKING GAME WE NEEDED YOU TO WIN RECENTLY that would be great, thanks.
I wish I could watch but it is not nationally televised. Even though the Capitals have clinched a spot, with all the teams in the East bunched up, the final 2 games against the Bruins and Rangers could mean something, at least seeding wise. Very fun month of hockey! I'm with you tonight: Go Hamburglar and Sens!
And now, I with you. Please beat Boston tomorrow, pleasepleasepleaseplease. And now that the Rangers have the President's Trophy, the best thing you could do is rest everyone. You should be rolling three lines on Thursday; the assistant coaches, the cleaning staff and the zamboni drivers. The caterers can take care of the blue line and the ticket office manager can play in goal.
A Caps victory tonight would be my preference but I still don't think we'll catch Boston; Pittsburgh are the more likely target for us.
I am headed to Verizon Center right now. LETS' GO CAPS! The Bruins need the game more. That is why I want this Caps win bad. Stamp your ticket as a legit team headed into the playoffs.
Great Caps win tonight. Assures them of either playing the Islanders or Penguins in Round 1. I like their chances vs. either. And how about Holtby? Great season for the guy. Played the Bruins 3 times. Shut them out all 3 times.
Isles over Pens tommorrow...together with a Sens 2-1 victory over Rangers in ot and win over Flyers, Bruins have Florida and Tampa
The Rangers have to ask themselves if they would rather play the Senators, Bruins, or Penguins? If it is the Senators, then they need to find a way to let them win tonight. Of course they should handle all 3 with ease, so they probably are not even thinking about that. Ottawa is the most dangerous of the 3 right now probably, just due to them playing well and being in borderline playoff mode the last couple months. Speaking of the Rangers, I was so worried a few weeks ago that the season would come down to beating them on Saturday. Thank God that is not an issue now.
I'm stunned the Kings didn't make it. Despite the fact they struggled all year it just stood to reason they were still good enough to make it. With an extra few months to rest I'm willing to bet they will be playing for the cup again next year.
Agreed. They will be back. Tonight: Isles vs Pens. Huge game. An Isles win confirms a match-up with the Caps, a Pens win makes tomorrow's games interesting.
