That was absolutely horrendous...these guys on msg are making excuses...colored jerseys and 12pm start time?
The jerseys look terrible in my opinion and the Knicks are 0-6 in them. But it doesn't affect their play, I just don't like them
The Celtics and a tough young coach watched the tape of the last two games and said we are not switching! We are not leaving them open for 3's! Period. So the Knicks..unprepared as usual with a HC who has no capacity to switch a gameplan, go out and play like the last 2 games and after a couple penetrating drives they realize huh? huh? Nobody is open for a 3? Why? BECAUSE THE CELTICS SAID THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PLAY THAT GAME. So you had Felton...that piece of garbage...going down the middle and throwing up bricks off the backboard. I laughed to my son at 10-1? I think it was and said..the Celtics could care less what the Knicks do but they are not letting anyone open for a three..and they refuse to switch..period. Thats all they did. No switching...no 3's. Watch the replay. And somehow the Knicks were very surprised by the simple gameplan. There is no possible way a total of 12 guys do not show up to play...that had nothing to do the with first quarter..it had everything to do with just quitting after no adjustments were made. Woodson has to go...period.
The orange jerseys have to go. That isn't the Knicks. Get rid of them. I refuse to watch any further games that have those ugly jerseys. I'd rather them wear doo-doo brown. And those jerseys COULD affect their play, since MSG has orange all over the court. It could confuse players and throw people off. I'll never forget the debacle in the Hawks game. It's time to move on.

The 3 man combo of Bargs/Amare/Melo provides 0 help defense, but let's ignore that, and look at their rating this season: -49.4!! They score 76.1 points scored per 100 possessions, 125.5 given up. The Knciks on the season are 101.1 and 105.1. Let's get rid of this lineup because it's clearly not working either way. Our top 5 man lineups with over 10 minutes played: Felton, THJ, Iman, Melo Chandler +38.5 Felton, Prigs, Iman, Melo, Chandler +27.8 Pablo, THJ, MWP, Melo, Kmart +18.6 Beno, JR, Melo, Bargs, Amare +15.0 (imagine what the rest might be to bring the 3 man lineup down to -49) Felton, JR, Iman, Melo, Bargs +11.3 Felton, Iman, Melo, Bargs, KMART +10.8 (I'm usually against big lineups with the way our team is built but I was clearly wrong as this unit makes it work) So basically I'm saying let's stop Amare/Melo/Bargs and find a better utilize the players and unit. And Woodson can't even say that unit plays good D as they give up 125 ppp

I have never seen someone play defense as bad as STAT, and off a missed shot he watches the ball instead of actually rebounding . felton can't make a shot to save his life JR is JR this team is a joke
Prigioni doing great at PG, unfortunately defense not allowing Knicks to cut lead. Amare's offense is back (roll on PnR and finish) but his rebounding is still stand around.
Oh man Amare, box out! Kyrie goes off, Woodson leaves Toure and Shump on the bench. Might be time to try a new strategy on good PGs than let Felton get burnt and then have Prigioni guard someone 16 years younger than him for 25 minutes.

Woodson's not the only problem, but he's definitely not helping at all. Which is weird, because as we all have gone over in this thread already, he seems to be doing the opposite of whatever worked last year and a half. Why? Who knows.
