This is really rare, a proper Dolan interview. Some very interesting stuff in there http://nypost.com/2013/11/22/james-dolan-dishes-on-isiah-his-garden-teams/
This is a Dolan quote from they interview "Mostly, I think it does not pay to be impatient, because you destabilize your team."
I heard talk of John Calipari, or some story like that when I was flipping through the channels. Saw it on PTI
Anytime there is an opening or potential opening he's always mentioned, I wouldn't much stock into it for now.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...nce-but-leaves-plenty-of-questions-unanswered Man the answers to these questions would shed so much light into Knciks operations, but we will never know
The Knicks 3rd quarter is bad so far, the promising part is that Melo is getting doubled, he's swinging it, the ball is flying, but people are missing open shots.
Anddddd another loss. The Knicks first half was promising, the second half not so much. Once the Wizards started doubling Melo, Woodson was smart to limit KMARTs minutes kind of to space the floor better. Amare looked his best offensively, unfortunately for him, yet another +/- for the team when playing. The key problems still exist. Would have liked to see more Shumpert minutes, he only got 26 which is surprising considering Beal and Wall both need guarding. We never went 2 PG which is understandable with only 2 PG on the lineup. Would have liked to see a Prigs, Smith, Shump, Melo, KMART/Bargs lineup at one point, but we never got it. Time to go to Portland next who have won 9 in a row. Will Woodson survive the road trip? Knicks don't get back to MSG until December 1st
OH and the absolute worst part of the game is the Knicks getting the Wizards into the penalty with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter, and never running anything meant to attack the paint/hoop. Did not take advantage of that at all
Good job Mike Woodson. Might as well put a crash test dummy in a suit and the Knicks will get batter coaching
yeah that or the team is full of cunts who rather than listen to the coach would rather see how many jumpshots they can miss on a daily basis. melo must have forgot his football pads
I disagree, this was a problem with the Knicks last year too, but as with their defensive issues it was hidden since they would bury 3s and not turn the ball over. I'm nervous if Woodson even makes it out of the road trip. I bet if BK was doing better, Dolan would have panicked and fired Woodson already
Defense poor for NYK to start, so Woodson takes out Shump and runs with a Bargs/Amare/Melo front court
Down 34-18 after 1 quarter, going big made well 0 difference as usual. Since we hav ea minutes cap on KMART and AMARE and Todd said we want to rest Bargs, maybe go small so it's easier to manage their minutes and on top of that, it was the most effective lineup for us last year.
Shump having the worst night in a long time for him. KMART is playing great. I would try something different if I was Woodson since we are down 17 at half.
I don't see any coach winning consistently with this current roster, only player on the team that we know what were getting every night is Melo, everyone else on the team you just hope gives you something. When Chandler gets back it will huge for the team but until then all we can do is thread water.
