Or the Ray Felton foul, or Amare missing a point blank layup, or Shump throwing away a 5-4, or etc etc. I could go down the list and point out one for each player that play.

Chris Smith is active tonight. MWP is inactive with a sore left knee.

@DMArtestQB: Ron isn't hurt but Ron isn't playing tonight. I know why but I won't say.

Always gotta be drama surrounding this team

    welp he got me

@DMArtestQB Chill. It was a joke. I went too far. Note to never troll NYC media. I'm not trying to cause drama. I'm just being me.

Amare said he wanted to be used like Duncan. 20-30 minutes it games with rest games thrown in. If he could play like Duncan I would approve.

Our paint D is hard to watch at times.

If Amare wants more minutes, stop missing layups

I'm not saying once Amare came in the Hawks went on a run and lead by 7, but Amare is -7 right now

The Knicks transition D is incredibly bad and I think it's worse against the Hawks because

    a) teague is really fast
    b) Shump automatically goes to cover Korver who is running to the 3 point line.

That means someone not shump has to run and get into the paint to stop the transition offense

Woodosn gave Melo a rest to end the 2nd Q, but Felton and JR don't run the offense through Bargs. Frustrating to see from Felton especially.

Knick the deficit to 5. Amare comes in, Knicks down 11 now. Amare and Felton combined for poor PnR defense, causing rotations and an open 3

Going to Amare just gets the Knicks out of their groove. They cut it to 5, and Amare left and they were now down 9.

Woodson doesn't have the nest players right now, but his stubbornness to change is what is going to submarine him

He decided to give Amare more minutes in the 2nd half after not doing much in the 1st half. Amare in total didn't give the team any help. Pablo was a key part of that run in the 2nd half cutting the lead to 5. JR who shot poorly plays in the 4th over him as the lead balloons out of control

And now I see why Shump can't guard Teague, because Felton couldn't follow Korver around the court to save hsimelf.

It can be true that Dolan is horrible and Woodson has coached the team horribly. Which he has. They aren't mutually exclusive

    Agreed

When can we formally end giving Amare minutes better served not given to him? He wants to play more, but if you can't play defense, you are just a problem especially when you can't score like he used to.

Woodson has to simplify the defensive strategies with Chandler and get Felton rested or moving better on defense.

Melo has to keep doing what's he doing, same with Shump for the most part who needs to protect the ball more, and Bargs can keep on doing what he's doing.

The main problems lie in the lineups from Woodson and Felton's poor play as a PG. The side problems are JR taking a while to shake the rust and THJ's newness to the NBA.

It's one thing to lose because Tyson is out. It's another thing to lose because of the same problems from last year.

Basically from what I'm reading from the complicated trade part, the Knicks would have to take back Walalce, Lee, and any other bad contracts BOS wants to get rid of. Doesn't seem like Boston wants to make the trade though, but clearly the Knicks are trying which I mean you don't know if you don't try.
