If that scenario works out the way you put it then the Jets would be out of their mind to not swap picks with Baltimore, even if its only for a 4th round pick... anything. Just pick up something in that case.
I went with Long. Mcfadden is hard not to go with but long is a beast and a need. Lots of people think mcfadden is going to the raiders and he seems like that type of player i could so see it. Long might fall to us and if he does he would be a stud for years and years to come just like his dad.
Chris Long is safest as far as 'unknowns'. will not be effected by big money as he is already a millionaires kid. smart, good U Va education. Has NFL technique training via Pops. Good support netwrok via Pops. Played vs NFL-style offense in practice every day at U Va.
ack I picked the wrong one lol. Put me down for Chris Long, not Mendenhall (although he would be my overall RB pick)
Vernon Gholston.... I think to call McFadden the best player in the draft is a bit of stretch. I know many draft pundits have said it, I just don't agree. I think either Chris Long or Gholston are the two players who can turn a franchise around. I'd love to have Chris, but I think the Raiders are going to pick him if he's availiable. Honestly, I think McFadden is going to fall farther, because recently it seems NFL teams like to punish former problem children. See Warren Sapp and Randy Moss. No one wants to be THAT team that has to deal with a player who they knew had the possibilites of going bad. Also whomever drafts McFadden will be attaching a behaviour clause to their first contract.
