He is about as anti-Met as you can get. That idiot isn't a good source to go from.

Unlike Mitchell, he probably doesn't want to name names without proof.

Varitek is the face of the franchise to people not living in New England.

Funny how he was on the first list. Amazing that all the Yankees named the first time were on the second one, plus some.

WTF does Epstein have to do with anything? He adminished the GM, along with the entire rest of the league, without naming one current Red Sox player, and that disproves conflict of interest?

    Seriously?

You do know the Commish owns the Brewers right? The report is addressed to the Commish.

Read the report, there is a bunch of evidence at the end of the report. There are fed-ex receipts, checks, & letters.

If he has no proof, then who cares what he says and why are you so quick to believe him?

For real. I don't know why people are blasting Mitchell. There was evidence against EVERYONE he listed in that report.

So, what's the problem? The "Investigator" owns the Red Sox. If it makes no difference, why couldn't Selig do the investigation himself?

The first list is worth about as much as used toilet paper. It was just speculation made up by some loser who had too much time on his hands. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't exist in any meaningful capacity. And I don't know anyone who would have Varitek ahead of Ortiz as the face of the franchise.

At the time the report was prepared, Gagne and Donnelly were both current Sox. What Current Yankees are on the list? Pettitte and... Giambi? He admitted it (sort of). Clemens? He was obvious and a mercenary anyway. Really, the Yankees weren't hit any harder than other teams.

The fact is, either no Sox stars are users, or they are supplied by someone Mitchell didn't talk to. Anyone who thinks there was some sort of coverup is of borderline mental stability.

I was referring to evidence about Clemens and Pettitte only. I know they have some evidence on the others.

It's not the people listed for me... it's the teams that weren't listed... especially the team that Mitchell works for...

Alio, youre still doing what I accused you of. Im not trying to take shots for no reason at you....Mitchell explained himself why there is a lot of players with yankee ties....he said its not a complete list.....he got info from people who would give him info.....some of you say unless mitchell has every name of every player who took roids then he shouldnt print any of them. I disagree 1000%.....whether fuckin big papi took roids or not, if you have info from someone who says he injected clemens then I want to know. I will draw my own conclusions and consider the sources at my own discretion. you guys that are villifing Mitchell are ridiculous. and the ones that are making it a yankee vrs. sox or met issue are even more ridiculous and youve obviously missed the ENTIRE POINT OF THE INVESTIGATION. Please start posting with your heads and no with your hearts..........clemems being named is an indictment on clemens, the yanks, the jays and the sox. Mitchell even makes that point himself.

And those are the ONLY people who there is evidence against? It's not who IS on the list but who ISN'T.

I don't believe that anybody coerced to testify will ever necessarily tell the truth.

I agree. I would have rather seen Selig do it. Well no, I'd rather see a competent commissioner do it. But I would have no problem with Selig doing it.

The office of the Commissioner was created for THIS reason. To take care of scandals like this. Judge Landis was named as a result of the Black Sox scandal. I would much rather have seen this handled entirely within the sport.
