The only Sox player who compares to Papi having his name on the list, is on the list: Varitek. I actually give this guy a LOT more credibility now.
Honestly, I don't want Papi or Manny on the list. Jeter nor ARod either. Those 4 guys are the pillars of the AL East. At least for now, the sanctity of those 4 great hitters is preserved.
Very true, though with all the success Red Sox/Patriots fans are having, I would have loved to see their beloved Ortiz go down. It would finally give me something I could brag about.
I wonder if ESPN is still going to use Roger "the saringe" Clemens to promote their ESPN the weekend at Disneyworld.
Ahh.. I hadn't done a refresh and didn't have the update. That's why I didn't see the additional names.
The list names some but not all the players who have been cheating, I'm sure there are some guys who still fell through the cracks. After reading "Game of Shadows" and hearing of average joe guys like Alex Sanchez getting busted, I'm convinced it's everybody. Maybe none of the 4 are on the list, but I'm willing to bet at least 1 or 2 of them have juiced in the past. Theres no way to prove it, but with everything I've heard about the drug culture that existed and probably continues to exist to an extent, I am convinced that 60% if not higher of the players are guilty.
I seriously would not be surprised to see Papi on that list somewhere. He went from sucking with the Twins to all of a sudden being an MVP candidate. Guys like Jeter, Arod and Manny have been superstars since they oined the league.
The one list I saw at first had them on it. I didn't see that this list didn't have those players listed.
I think one guy that has to be feeling good today is Luis Gonzalez. For years we heard his name and today his name isn't on the 1st list that came out. I guess we'll have to see at 2 PM but Gonzo appears to be exonerated.
