There is something to be said about sitting on the bench and learning. The game at the NFL level is incredibly complicated and moves at a lightning pace. It’s rare to have guys that are capable of coming into the league ready to go. Especially when they come from schools with weak schedules. Mike White is a hungry dude, you can see it in his attitude. He’s also has the personality of a leader, you can see that by the way the players respond to him. He’s clearly spent a career learning the details of the game. He went through his reads calmly and made the right throw just about every time. He’s a shining example of why Zach needed to sit and still does. Zach’s chances of being the Jets QB again are near zero at this point. Is he hungry? Is he the type of guy that’s gonna put a massive amount of work in while humbling his ego to come back in a year or two as a reborn man? I don’t think so.
Mike white in the 1st half had more passing yards than Zack did in last 2 games playing. He was 1 td away from having as many td's as Zack all season. Zack not once was supportive of his teamates on the sidelines, was just standing there like a statue.
