I think Mike white is gonna show us what he can do this weekend and why he can be our future QB with some more pieces on Oline

This episode of 1JD just made me love him more. I hope he balls out vs Seahawks and leads us to the playoffs then gets himself a contract.

Bring in Carr why not. White can resign if he wants to be a backup. We need someone more proven who can stay healthy. Nobody is giving White a big contract on the open market anyway. He's gonna sign to be a back up where ever he goes.

The thing is it doesn't matter who the QB is at this point. When the other team rushes THREE guys and gets to the QB within 3 seconds, the O-line is the biggest issue. The Jets should build a solid O-line first, everything else is secondary.

    Funny...

I came back to this thread to type exactly that.

Next week he'll have a decent game and torture us some more...

I can't get too mad about today at him. He's healing broken ribs and I think he was rushed back in too quickly. He's shown that he's a lot better than he was today. Should we give him the starting job for next year, no questions asked? No, but I'd still keep him on the team and let him compete for the starting spot. With a better O-line and better playcalling, he could be much better.

I think he needed to do well both games, I think it's over. He's a backup that can provide a little magic here or there, which is the best thing we have at QB this moment

I think that could be a correct assessment. And that’s okay, every team needs a solid backup. Today was not his day though that’s for sure

Oh Zach you threw for 72 yards. 30% of the man Mike White is.

Mike White was horrendous today, but he is who he is. He battled with broken ribs. I give him credit. Some fans wanted to go into 2023 with him as the starter. That would be awful. Today he proved he might not even be back-up QB worthy.

It is a problem for Joe Douglas though. Zach Wilson has no confidence. Joe Flacco is done. Mike White is a back-up QB at best, but you can't trust him to do that. And Chris Streveler is Chris Streveler.

So Douglas has a solid roster but no starting QB at all and possibly no back-up QB either. Yikes!

Kid had one bad game and he sucks? Give him 22 games like Zack, All Qb's have bad games. The injury obviously effected him. But don't worry he will go to another team this offseason become a starter and become the next Joe Montana, thats the Jets way.

The Mike White Era Began and the Mike White Era Ended. For the second year in a row he had one good game followed by horrible games and injuries. The team may have rallied around him in the locker room, but they sucked on the field. Any QB following Wilson was cheered when they came on the field.
