I'm never an alarmist, but he was underwhelming last year as well. He gets two more games for me before I say we need to put someone else in there. That's it though.
This is going to make him better or be the end. We'll know within the next couple games. Here's for hoping this increases his focus and makes him the best in the NFL.

Nugent's situation reminds me of "Chuck Knoblauch", where Chuck can't make a simple throw. Maybe his confidence is shot? I may be thinking to much, but right now, this scenario just reminds me of Chuck's.
But the TALK after the draft was that he was automatic from 40 yard line in. That's right - all we had to do was hit the 40 and it was a sure 3 points.

Two missed FGs, One Missed XP and terrible kickoffs - what else do you need to see? They screwed up with that 2nd round pick period!
one game? did you not watch him last year? A kicker drafted in the second round should be able to force touchbacks...simple as that.
They should start looking elsewhere for a kicker. I know it is only one game, but he just sucks. I am surprised Bradway didn't take him in the 1st round of the draft.
He has single handedly destroyed the Jets' momentum in this game. Lucky to be playing a shit team this week.
If Jets score another TD, they should do like the Titans and go for 2, regardless of the score. Better chance of getting the 2 than the XP.
