Pennington wins, and that is the only positive I an really think of to defend him right now. We didn't know what we had in Clemens until the last two weeks, and now we're starting to get a glimpse of it. 'Thinking beyond the last thirty seconds' would be irrational here, since the last thirty seconds is really all we have to judge Clemens by.
If the Jets had Eli Manning I would most likely kill myself...he is one of the biggest douche bags in the NFL.
First off if it wasn't preseason then Chad would not have attempted that nasty throw as he was going down. Playing alittle ball myself (Tried out for Quarter back ; Became a running back) You have in the back of your mind that its practice or preseason so why not, lets try to make it happen! During the regular season there will be none of those poor decisions! The thing that has me wondering if all is well is the dink and dunk crap. We will be so predictable if that's all we are going to see during the regular season. The o-line didn't open a lot of hole and I'm fearing that T Jones will become Kevin Barlow looking for some running room that isn't there.
If Penny had Clemens arm or Clemens had Pennys smarts we would have ourselves a top notch QB. Clemens needs to see more reps with the first team going against 1st team D before I start to laud him as the 2nd coming. Chad is still the best QB on the team ,noodles and all.
Lol. It's not that Clemens doesn't have the smarts, it's that he doesn't have the experience. Give him one more year to develop, then we can judge him.

yeah , Just concentrate on the part that gives you something to say! There are lots of things wrong with that last game. It is a fact that all QB's make mistakes.Look at Brady ; he had an interception ran back against the Titans but with us the overall team was horrendous. This isn't a Herm Edwards coaching staff. I firmly believe if Mangini believes the team has a better chance to win with Clemens, then Clemens will start. As much as we think we may be at times, we are not smarter than the coaching staff. Let them do their jobs.
I like Chad, but if a change is to be made make is early so Clemens can get into the groove early. I wish they would have done that two years ago with Bollenger. Putting in Vinny was a joke. BTW Vinny is still listed on the Pats website.
The Pats won 3 SB with Brady throwing 3 INT's in 9 playoff games he has 6 in the last 5 playoff games and the Pats have zero SB.
Jeeze this will just go on and on . All Im saying is that During the regular season Chad will throw that one away! That is my current posistion that is my thought !
