The Jets should TRADE DOWN!

    If for some reason the Jets did get that trade from Denver, we would be able to get 8 players, how in the hell are we going to able to pay all of them. Is the drop off from what you pay a #4 that much different from 15 and 22?

    Good point about the economics of selecting three 1st rounders!

    IMO, the Jets would be able to sign their draftees, but would be more limited by the "rookie salary cap" than by the "team salary cap."

    Obviously, if you draft three 1st rounders, then other players who do not fit the rebuilding plan will need to be cut in order to make roster room and "team salary cap" room, IMO.

    That is the essence of rebuilding, IMO.

    You get the best talent players you can, then coach them into the best players that they can be, and you get rid of players that are dead wood.
