The Jets should be able to run or pass all over that garbage defense. The key will be not beating themselves with dumb ass penalties or turnovers. Gotta put the ball in the endzone and not settle for fg's, especially the way Folk is kicking lately.

Ahhhhh, those penalties. It appears we have a few that kill drives every week. Couple that with just the smallest thing, like a ball tipped at the line of scrimmage, that really seem to ruin a series early in games of late.

The strategy is there but something has been keeping the Jets from scoring early. The team needs to be on point early for this one and execute precisely.

yeah no doubt - can't afford to drive to the Pats 40, have a 1st and 10, get a 22 yard screen play and have it called back for holding or illegal formation. They don't just seem to get a bad penalty they seem to get them at the worst time on drives.

History shows us that Belichick's game plan almost always tries to take away what a team does best and make them beat him with what they are not as strong in.
IMO, BB will focus on taking away the run and make Sanchez beat him by throwing the ball. He will try to confuse Sanchez and force him to make mental mistakes and turn the ball over.
If the Jets run the ball well, they will win. If the game depends on Sanchez, I think the Jets lose. Close game, but I think Sanchez throws 2 picks and Pats win 27-23.

this is pretty much it. The pats give up a lot of yards but if Sanchez is throwing all day long, then the Pats D will make a few picks despite giving up 300+ yards in the air. Last game, the Jets averaged around 6+ yards per carry. If they don't repeat this, then they are going to be in trouble.

I wish I could watch the second half of the first Pats-Jets game.

    It was beautiful.

Great points. I definitely see BB trying to outfox our gameplan and I think Rex is already planning to throw in a few wrinkles. I wouldn't be surprised if we come out throwing to keep the Pats honest but our pass protection has to be solid also. This is going to be a great match.
