i'm eccentric like that. I always think there is a sign i see or a quick thought i think of for decisions in my life that I don't pick up on, and then realize those were exactly what I thought it was after i've made a mistake.

There are times that I ignore it or pretend i didn't feel it. Like last december haha. Its the small bouts of butterfies that annoy me because then I can't be confident that its a guaranteed win.

Those big ones that happen when the jets shouldn't lose - those make a weekend turn to shit.

every week i get some sort of gut feeling.

But its the no feeling or the big nervous feeling that makes it easy.

its the quick little one that makes it a guessing game. I got that last week so I thought "its the Fins, Ryan's schemes have shut down the Fins last January, this is a win" and i was wrong.

But against the Saints I knew on friday it was a loss. I didn't post it here because I have too much pride to say "this game the Jets will lose" i did say in a few posts, "this is the toughest game of the year." The team was due.

By no means would i call myself Nostradamus, but it always clues me in to how the team will do. I bet I got nervous about a game and the jets won, sometime during 06. But i've been really focusing on it for the last couple of years and its getting more accurate.

And I get it with only the jets, no other team I root for.

EDIT: here is a perfect example - Week 1 against Houston. I turned to my friend and pointed to my head and said "up here I think the Jets are going to lose, but in here *pointed to my heart* I think they are going to win"... 24-7 Jets.

My routine consists of scratching my balls with one hand, and drinking a beer with the other. Occasionally, I will pull my hand out of my pants to gesture to the TV with a middle finger or a fist pump, but I never put down my beer.

I usually get the same shitty results though.

In my madden franchise I was 3-2 after 5 games, starting out 3-0 and then losing to the Saints and Dolphins. My record is 6-3 right now, with the 3rd loss coming against the Patriots

    do you mean 7-3?

you're missing a game in there.

and i'll take 7-3 going into Carolina.

So they'll be going 11-5 if your madden season continues to be consistent.

Jets are undefeated when I am in my Revis jersey before kickoff...

last week i was at work an unable to suit up. This week i got back in time for kickoff but not in time to suit up. hence our two losses.

last year I wear favre for the Zona game and a few others where we kept winning, then when I got my revis jersey right before the second pats game last year, i suited up in that for 2 weeks, and we beat NE and Tenn back to back. then i switched back to Favre, and the collapse began.

Favre has since been retired to my basement...

I wear my Rhodes jersey to sleep in the night before and play a game of Madden. I wear my Sanchez jersey the morning of the game and switch to Leon just before kickoff.

Last week, I played Madden early in the day because I knew I'd be absolutely wrecked and possibly not make it home that night. I forgot to play on Sunday night this week because of MNF.

    It was also my fault.

I started 0-3 in my fantasy league.

I finally win my first game, Jets lost to the Saints

My team lights up my opponent last week (Turner, Roddy White, Mcnabb, Ray Rice) - Jets D gets lit up vs the wildcat

So now I'm 2-3 ... and the Jets are 3-2

    Game day Check list!

    1. Breakfast(Eggs, toast, bacon and Coffee).
    2. Shave after a loss or Not when we win.
    3. Do a Jet Chant with my kids (even if there sleeping ).
    4. Do a jet chant over the phone to my Dad in NY.
    5. Go to Gatsby in Boca (last 6 years)
    6. Do a Mocked Pregame analysis of Keys to the Game for the New York Jets and who's going to stand out during the game. Then we end it by saying a score "Jets win 77-0".
    7. Go in the bar and do a Jets chant.

My Negative thoughts Made the Jets loose.

But after these two games ive realized my selfish ways, now ill never stop doing whats needed for the jets win, Thanks for helping me see the light TGG!!!

Everytime I wore a jersey during the game we lost and I was like fuck that!! Then I decided to wear one this season and we won and the last two games I didn't and we lost it's a fucked up situation.

My daughter bought me a 1 foot tall Jet gnome for my birthday. The Jets are 3-0 when I rub the top of the cap before the game. Unfortunately, the last two weeks I neglected this pregame action the last two weeks and now they are 3-2. I was out of town for the Dolphins game, so that's my excuse. Sorry won't let it happen again.

For home games my Father and I have a ritual besides all the tailgating methods.

If it's a division rival I will sit in the isle seat and if it's not he will. If they lose we switch it up.

We beat the Pats this year with me in the isle seat, so I'll be sitting there for a while I think, we've had to do a lot of switching over the past 8 years, lol.
