Or they just might want to upgrade and they feel he is better than anyone they can draft for the position. Just a thought.

Yeah that too. I didn't know how old Runyan was. Almost makes me think that we should just play a young guy there to develop him considering we won't be all that great this season.....but I guess that would mean having to sacrifice the QB sometimes.....

Runyan just seems like a stop-gap, because after a year or 2 we will have to replace him.

He said he wanted to stay close to his house in NJ, that might have something to do with that. I'm really excited for him if it works out. He might not be an amazing RT, but he's solid and he's the kind of guy who will play every game.

What the hell is this runyan equals leinart crap? We need a RT and C, we bring in runyan who will probably give him a 3year deal, then he's done, the only way most likely to get leinart is to trade our 2 1st's and i doubt that is happening. Either he is there at 4 or no. We have penny, bollinger, ramsey what more you want, this is going to be a learning year. We can draft quinn if the QB's dont work out.

We dont need a C if we got one he wouldnt be the starter he would be a back up. Runyan has more than 3 years left he has about 4 to 5 years left

If we drafted Mangold for example...Mangold would start at center and Kendall would be pushed back to LG.

Kendall is a probowl caliber player at guard, not center. We will definitly draft either mangold, or eslinger, for our center and have katnick as our backup, i dont think goodwin is here anymore.

I say mangold. And i say mario williams because mangini did not say he was switching to a 3-4 neither did sutton.

He said he would play the scheme that best suites his players, vilma will be just another LB in a 3-4, a 4-3 is a force, and all of our players know the 4-3 well, i say he will use the 3-4 for certain plays or special plays to confuse the defense. Oelhoffen can play DE and NT.

You're too needy. I will now purposely avoid that poll (wherever it is).

Sign Runyan and draft Ryan O'Callaghan in the 2nd round.

O-Bee-One meet your Luke. O'Callaghan is one nasty RT and can play RG as well. Smart, tough, and once he has you locked in, it's over!

    LT Jones/Morley
    LG Kendall/Nienhuis
    C Mangold/Katnik
    RG O'Callaghan/Moore
    RT Runyan/O'Callaghan

This Jets line would kiss some serious uss.
