You mean that blistering Bears offense that produced 5200yards total? The Bears could have made the SB that season with Blair Thomas rushing.

I was gonna say...Your a good poster in my eyes but when you said that, I was like WOOOWWWW... I think Williams is even older than Thomas Jones and if you ask me, he has more miles on the tank than a Thomas Jones

Thank god you were messing around, because I just about lost it...lol

Thats NOT TRUE... My cousin is a DIE HARD Bears fan and because of him, I've seen just about every Bears game since 2001 because he goes half on the NFL Season ticket and I watched Thomas Jones CARRY that Bears offense the year they made it to the SB. That Offense had a strong O-Line and Thomas Jones and that was IT

I wouldnt mind too much with signing someone like Holt, but wasting a draft pick on a guy who isnt the best in the draft, for the possibilty of him being good enough the following season, is rediculous, when Stuckey or Clowney could come into their own, some guys peak young and some are better with age either way, i'd be more comfortable drafting a Defensive player, again its all speculation and assumption, clowney and stuckey could suck and our drafted reciever could be amazing or vice versa or they can all suck or all be great we wont know untill we see it, i just dont think we should draft a wr with our first I have this feeling its not going to be worth it, i could be wrong. We should draft a rb with our second though

they sucked last year buddy, come on LT was hurt, lynch was decent they didnt have great years when you think of awesome running backs of the 2008-2009 season you peterson, jacobs, d williams, turner nfc rbs were supreme, jones doesnt even compare to them and he was the afc leader, anyway jones was good really good, but he's old and we're not immortal

darren mcfadden is a bust, larry johnson sucks dick, jones drew was silent all year with his entire team, ronnie brown is real good but he lost a step from that injury and he shared carries, come on man afc was weak, names dont mean shit, if you perform like crap then it doesnt matter if your joe montana ur still performing like crap

I get your point but we need to go Offense with the 1st round...Either QB or WR

And NEXT YEAR is the year to go after a RB with a 2nd round pick, not this year, if anything...RB should be a 4th or 5th round selection not a 2nd or 3rd.

you're saying we need to draft a wr and qb now with guys with potential talent already on the team that need to be tested, and we should wait to draft a good rb till next season, when our coach clearly wants a run heavy team and jones is over the hill, i dont like these ideas

I am totally against the Jets bringing in Holt. I won't rehash the reasons for I posted them in another thread.

Often times wideouts take a couple years to develop. For the Jets to draft one and expect top notch play out of the gate is not reasonable. Hence, why I wrote the Jets should take a look at overlooked free agent wideouts. Ideally, they would sign the guy to a 1 or 2-year contract at a low cost.

I'd like the Jets to go with a wideout or a defensive player with the 17th pick.

I am sorry about that too.

Now back on topic about people being dumb about the offense.....and sentence structure.....(note the periods again, just trying to leave some extra around if needed).

There are some questions at WR, and people would like to see a veteran or draft pick to fill out this position as Clowney and Stuckey are both unknowns.

Why do I think people worry about this, going into the season thin on a known quality at an offensive position? Remember 1999 after Vinny went down, no quality depth at QB, and it killed the offense. Parcells was content to sit pat with what he had and it failed, killing the Jets chances.

Now it was a good team, as proven by the previous run to the title game. But that lack of movement to get more help at that position is one that I still remember. Now fast forward to now. You have not only unproven QBs and WRs, double jeopardy there, but in this case, not even a proven Vet to take the reigns at QB if needed. If both fail, season over. That is the risk they are taking by standing pat, and I can understand the articles and questions.

Listen, you dont have to shit on me because you made a lame joke, stop being so angry. Anyway I see what you're saying about our QB's, but who are we going to get now, draft a rookie, like sanchez who started only one year in college thats only if he makes it to us. We have to make due, I know you arent expecting a SB right away, the WR issue will be here, and a veteren WR would be good, or getting our hands on a proven guy like Boldin would be great, but we have unproven recievers like you said, so why draft another even more unporven reciever. I think D is more important of a matter at this time, and who knows if things dont turn out good, some guys may come around next FA and we can draft next year. I really think defense needs to be the main priority.

I didnt say he wasent any good which is saying he sucks, I said he isnt that good and he's old, he was inconsistant last year. i said this before, he can have a twenty yard break here and there thats great, but I'd rather see a guy getting 4-5 a carry every carry like most consistant rb's do, rather then have huge runs then get stuffed for 1-2 yards the next, its up and down with him, I didnt like it last year, and this year he is only going to be older.
