On the PRs I saw, Marshall didn't have very good blocking, so had nowhere to run. He's confident and looking to make something happen every play, and if the blocking isn't there, that will make him more tentative. It's good that he's looking to make something happen, but sometimes one just has to accept there's nothing there and take the 2-3 yards. I think he'll learn that in time.
I think my timing for this thread deserves a fukin award... A razzie award but an award nonetheless ...smmfh. Hey, hopefully the ending is better than the intro
It's also on Folk for not chipping the ball high enough. It was a 22 yarder, you don't have to drive it for power.
Agree ST is so important The kick coverage The actual punter turning the field over and NOT hurting us Makes me happy
I'm not sure what your point is. Of course Folk knows he's supposed to chip the ball. Just like any player who screws up knows he screwed up. But Folk didn't execute and that's on him.
I suggest you watch the highlight again, especially on the block. You will see the blocking hand THROUGH the LOS when Folk kicks it. Yeah. The middle was eaten up for a good yard if not more. If you are saying Folk should have compensated for that with the power of foresight, then fine - maybe Folk could have seen it so it's his fault for not kicking it away from the middle. Maybe he could hook it or something.
