LMFAO.....anybody hwho actually follows college football would find this LAUGHABLE. Have you legit followed college football AT ALL? We should have just traded for Graham Harrell. Same system, way better at it, not retarded and pouty.
Nothing wrong with this pick. Would have been pissed taking him in the first, or even trading up for him in the second. But given our QB situation and him being available at 39 - it had to be done. It is not even about him playing this year - he can ride the bench this year and be ready to take the reins next year.
Some fans just don't get it..... Worst pick since Gholston?!?!? How can that possibly be when it is the 39th pick and Gholston was 6th? Explain please. This is a GREAT value pick. If it pans out, it is a franchise changer. If not, then it still was worth the shot in the second round. They picked the highest rated QB in the entire draft with the 39th pick in the draft WITHOUT trading up for it and people think it was a bad move? That's absurd. Drafts are about value. This is great value. The rest of the draft needs to be a success and TE, S and OG are key gets. But to take a shot at a great upside QB in the 2nd round is a must for a team with NO viable long term QB on their roster. Love the pick.
Just got the call from a friend about Jets drafting Geno. Can't even help but laugh at this point. Laughing to mask the frustration with this circus act. All I can say about drafting Geno, is that he BETTER see the field this season. Reason being, from my understanding, next years draft has much better QBs coming out, and so if Geno doesn't see the field this season, what a waste of a pick it might turn out to be.
Im fine with competition but we all know how the ne NFL is, you are drafted high you start instantly. Not to mention you don't really compete at all. I would just like to see us still go after Bridgewater when he comes out no matter what the case is.
What are you on? If he turns out to be the worst QB in NFL history, he will be the same as Sanchez, and we got him with a lower pick, so it's still better then Sanchez. I am thrilled that Sanchez will be gone.
Right up until June 1 when he gets cut. The difference between Geno and Sanchez is two years, as in Geno being a three-year starter and Sanchez being a one-year starter for a stacked program.
I'm rooting for the guy. Potential to be one of the best Jet draft steals or just a bad pick we'll see.
This was a great pick unless Sanchez leads us to the SB this year. Give Geno a year to learn, let Sanchez play out this year and keep Garrard as backup. If we go 0-16 at least we don't have to choose between Bridgetwater or Manziel. #loseforclowney
Weak performance by our FO so far. If they can trade up into round 2 for a TE, WR or OL help our offense might be able to move the ball in 2015.
Im giving Idzik a chance, ill be honest im not totally in agreement with everything thats gone down but hell what do i know. Tanny was a genius a couple of years ago now he longer works in the NFL.
