Agreed. Same goes the other way for those who solely blame the weapons, the o-line, the OC etc. when he struggles.
One of two things will happen next game: 1. The Jets will be able to run and get a lead against Baltimore. Then the ball will be taken away from Smith and he will be asked to do very little (i.e. Jets v Saints). 2. Baltimore will get a lead because the secondary gives up a touchdown or two and Geno will be forced to throw the ball. Baltimore will bring the pressure and Geno will make mistakes. (i.e. Jets v Bills, Cincinnati, Titans).
I agree 1000%. It's just funny that everything that went wrong with the previous QB was all about what dogshit such QB was, but now the reasons why Geno isn't producing is because of...the lack of playmakers, the o-line, the OC, the ground and pound HC. And the NEW one--the defense isn't getting him any turnovers!! Because we've been such a take-away defense the last 4 years. So what's changed that its now NOT the QB when it was EVERTHING about the QB before. Btw, my ONLY excuse EVER for Sanchez was the o-line- not any of that other bullshit about playmakers or OC or HC or defense or any of it. The o-line was atrocious in 2011 and THAT'S what started the downfall. Everything else was on him. Baltimore game was the beginning of the end. _
This past week was the first week I began to waiver on Geno being our "quarterback of the future". If you look around the NFL right now young quarterbacks are being given opportunities and are thriving. The game has evolved to the point that the Jets can't sign up for the Sanchez plan and wait 2-3 years to decide if Geno is the guy. Unless Geno has some dramatic turnaround, I would be shocked if Idzik didn't pick a QB in the first round if one falls that he likes.
That's because he's dog shit and he wore a headband. Well, was going to wear one and they knew it beforehand. _
That's what happens when a girl is in the line of battle. The enemy will gleefully take turns raping the living daylight out of that poor little one.
I know now that we shouldn't just have put Geno in the fireplace yet. He's in panic mode. All the opposing teams need to do is stack the line and show him multiple coverages. He gets confused even when he's not under pressure now and it is causing the mistakes. Drafting another QB won't help so the team will probably go after some veteran insurance in the off season will probably help.
Wow. Jet fans are the worst. Thank the Lord we now have a man in the line of battle standing up to those rapists gleefully raping the day lights out of girls. Holy shit. _
And so clever and so funny. We've gone from head band to little girls getting gleefully raped. A current Jet we're talking about. And we're all Jet fans. Because we hate Sanchez and we idolize Geno. Holy fucking shit. _
Its been this way for years J. Mostly over the top folks trying to out do each other. I wouldn't put much stock in any of it. As you know, all it takes is one good game and these folks will be all over Geno's jock like a groupie tying to get pregnant.
Well said, This thread has degenerated into a total bunch of garbage. All about Geno means what? Bring back the same hateful shit about Sanchez. Say what you will about Sanchez, but he is a lot tougher than the buffoons that are mucking him with nothing else more productive to say. And of course the OL when Sanchez was getting creamed were a bunch of studs doing their job in the game against Baltimore....LOL
Offensive Rookie of the Year and 4800 yards. Oh, he's not doing that? Must be the talent around him. The same exact talent we had last year. Minus Tebow, of course. Wait for it, some redneck dick is going to call me a fanboi. Nah, I'm just a Jet fan rooting for them ALL. But raping of little girls? That's where the humor and sarcastic hate is going? Wow, what a bunch of dicks. _
Too funny, there is a total dick here who can't wait to call him "Muck" in every clever post he makes about the guy. Can't wait to hear his clever nickname for Geno when he decides Geno is dogshit. _
Cimini had a good articel about Geno's interceptions and just how awful they were:http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/31496/film-review-genos-sad-stories
