cute, but nah, just go click that todays jets tweets thing and go back the past few days if its really that big a deal/you really think im making it up
I actually am interested in seeing whatever info it is that you have, but I'm not digging through a bunch of old tweets and adding shit up. I was also trying to make a point - there are no official numbers - you're dealing with a bunch of fuck heads numbers - and even if there were official how valuable are they? Especially with what I'm guessing is relatively few attempts? granted it's the same fuckheads I'm using to get the impression that Geno is doing relatively well ...
this is more or less my only point posting these numbers im keeping track for myself because i like to have an idea of how the guys are doing, so i would need to go back and look for myself. im not going to contend that sanchez completion percentage is better than genos touchdowns or anything, its just that both guys are playing well with this system, but all we hear about is how pretty genos long ball is, or how he can run an option play. i would so much rather talk about how sanchez is completing a large percentage of his passes and playing the short game vs geno taking shots and beating the d over the top. is one better than the other? i just dont get why everyone is ignoring mark playing well. i mean i do get it, but i think we should be seriously considering the idea that sanchez could win this competition
No one is going to be surprised if Sanchez wins the competition. We mostly hear about Geno because it's probably only a matter of when he's ready to play, and so far from all reports, he hasn't missed a beat or seemed in over his head. It wouldn't have been surprising if he was in over his head. Sanchez having a solid camp may be too little too late. He needs to have a great camp if Geno is solid throughout.
I think if it is close Geno will win and it sure sounds like it is close at the moment. You guys know how I feel about Mark but I want to win and if geno wins this thing I will be rooting hard for him.
I don't think you're making it up. But I do think that the guys tweeting the numbers are a bunch of non-football-knowing tards that only halfway pay attention to the practices. A few days ago it was tweeted that Geno Smith threw 2 TDs early, one to Hill and one to Kerley. Later on I'm looking on the official site and it turns out that Sanchez was the guy that threw the TD to Kerley. Kerley was on the first team and Hill was on the 2nd team. If these guys can't even get the QB who threw the actual TD correct, what makes you think these numbers they tweet are correct? You're wasting your time.
Think most folks want this too, but its the amount of 2nd chances that MS has had. Sometimes being (wrongly) handed the starting job on a plate.
Because when you suck for so long it's hard to be optimistic about camp performances. Keep in mind Sanchez has consistently played well in training camp and mini camp. So don't expect too much excitement.
