Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Maybe people value the physical attributes more than the mental/character ones.
Zack Wilson is 90% downside once he hits the NFL. It might be different if he was going to somebody outside the 1st round, but as a 1st rounder he is very likely to disappoint one way or the other and bust out as a result.
Thanks, but I'll take the word of guys like TJ O'Sullivan, Tim Jenkins, and Chris Simms over your unqualified assertion.
Yup. That’s the exact same reason Deshawn Watson and Patrick Mahomes have been huge busts. Same height. Same weight +/- 10 lbs
Actually, Mahomes official combine weight was 225 and 221 for Watson. More importantly they actually looked like they played at that weight and didn't just plump up for weigh in. They both appear to have larger frames as well.
Or Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees or Baker Mayfield or Russell Wilson. All about that height/weight right?
Actually (in obnoxious tone) Watson put on 10 lbs to go from 205 to 215 his last year of college. I wonder if having shoulder surgery prevented Wilson from doing the same... I’ll have to double check the math but it seems Wilson’s college playing weight of 210 may be more than 205. But in all seriousness, I understand your concern. Everyone knows it’s hard to gain muscle when you’re 21...
Do you feel better with these numbers? I’m asking in sincerity. Height: 6’2 1/8” Weight: 214 lbs. Hand size: 9 1/2” I think 6’5 213 sounds more fragile than 6’2” 214.
I don't think it's ignoring them. all QBs have red flags you have to take a shot and take the one you think will do best
sorry for me having 1 good season against a really really BAD schedule 34-49 and losing to coastal carolina the only good team they played does not equate to being the 2nd pick in the draft. if we do take a QB at 2 i would rather take a chance on justin fields or trading back for mac jones .
Coastal Carolina was one of the best teams Wilson played in 2020 - and they were still 10 point underdogs to BYU.
