I'm very bummed about this, Cotch was one of my favorite players in the league. I wish him the best.

J-Co was always one of my favorites... This is bullshit. I love rex and but what the hell? He's trying to bring so many of "his" guys here. I hope Rex knows something we dont, cause Cotch was a GAMER! and is still a better option than mason even if he's still hurt. Sad Day indeed

Farewell Cotchery, good luck (except when you play the Jets). He did a great job for the Jets in his years here.

THIS! I was a big fan. He played bigger than his draft status or voice. Wish him nothing but the best.

Same here. I could care less who plays on this team as long as they have a roster capable of winning. Players come and go, but these are still the New York Jets!

I just don't see how this helps us much. Mason is 37 years old, Plax is 35. What the hell are we doing? I understand we wanted to have more flexibility under the cap but damn, this just rubs me the wrong way. I mean, sure we'll still be fine, but damnit. The more I think about the loss of Cotchery, the more I get pissed off.

Yep. One of my favourite Jets as well. I'm not at all a fan of this move, it makes us much older at the position and to be honest I think Mason is possibly a downgrade from Cotchery. Anyway point is..I love you Jerricho, all the best and I'm very sad to see you go!

I'm guessing you didn't see much of Mason over his career.

Players don't stick around this long because of love, as we've seen clearly today it's a business decision.

damn this blows, its crazy, I was so sure Braylon and Cotchery were gonna remain on this team for a long time. I hope JCotch will continue to find success elsewhere.

Agreed. Still can't help but feel sentimental towards certain guys.

Imagine if guys like Chrebet or Toon had been traded late in their careers? Not comparing Cotchery as a player to them, just as a sentimental longtime Jet. I totally get it, but it's a bummer.
