He is turning into a force. Very physical with the speed to pick up YAC. Clemens was getting the ball into his hand quickly, which allowed him to make plays after the catch. Probably my favorite player on the team right now.
I think he's going to wind up as the best player drafted by Bradway when all is said and done, with apologies to Kerry Rhodes who will be #2.
Cothch is the man, pure and simple. I have a funny feeling that if we tried him out at LG, he would be more physical than most of our offensive line.
Took the words right out of my mouth. It just goes to show that benching Cotch' was one of the mistakes that Herm did when he was our coach. Look what he is doing now. Chad to Cotchery is a great connection. Kellen to Cotchery was a great connection as well, especially considering how sharp Clemens throws were today against Baltimore. The point is, Cotchery is a great player, and I'm glad he is apart of this Jets team and is being used properly.
What was really remarkable to me wasn't just his skill but as someone else said before, his will to win. This team has come out flat the last two weeks. He's one of the few exceptions. Gotta love cotch!
When you need that third down converted...J-Co's your man when you need that pass completed...J-Co's your man when you need those YAC's for the big comeback...J-Co's your man when you need that d-back run over, the opposite of J-Slack...J-Co's your man. Jay...dash...see...oh... J-Co J-Co J-Co
Easily my favorite offensive player. He just won't go down. He's our own version of Chuck Norris. When Bill Belichick goes to sleep at night, he checks his closet for Jerricho Cotchery.
Its easy to give Clemens the credit for that fourth quarter comeback attempt, and to some degree he deserves a bit of it, but Cotchery was the man who did the bulk of the work. I was excited when we got him in the fourth round (I watched a lot of NC State games when he was there and it was obvious he was underrated), and Im absolutely thrilled that hes locked up here long term.
