Bad call, but it was bang bang. He didn't have a good angle.

Wow! What a game! Phillies and Rockies are going to be a great series. I personally won't be watching because... I just can't...

The plate was blocked. I don't think the ump was in position to see whether or not his foot was in front of the plate or on it.

Holliday idiotically slid headfirst and wide of home plate, he tried to drag his hand across but Barrett's foot blocked him. The ball squirted away from Barrett and the umpire waited until Barrett picked the ball back up and was going to tag Holliday out before calling him safe.

Truly bizzare play. I don't think that should've been a tough call for the umpire either, he was right on top of the play.

It was very strange. Umpire took forever to make a call, probably because the ball was loose, but you think he'd be able to see that earlier.

McLelland is a pretty good umpire too. I thought the hesitation was about whether or not the catcher actually held onto the ball. I think if he held onto it, he would've been called out initially.

They won't learn anything. Based on postgame interviews, only Wright, Lo Duca, and Schoeneweis seemed to be bothered by the debacle. Those guys are from Virginia, New York, and New Jersey. The rest of the team consists of many assholes like One Third, Milledge, and the foreigners.
