J-Co as in Jerricho Cotchery? The jest best receiver!!

no way, oh god. We need to keep him and imho, coles and find a better 3rd receiver!

    trading cotch is crazy talk.

Trade jerrico cotchery for a fouth rounder ??? does that even make sense ? considering he was drafted in the Fourth ?

Well, Brady was a 6th rounder. Rod Smith was undrafted. Basing a players trade value based on where they were drafted years ago is stupid.

And Magpie, Coles is the jets best WR..not Cotchery

I purused Bill Parcells intro press conference down here to quote him:

" You do not trade good football players."

I suppose you can play with words and say that some of the players proposed being traded in this thread and others may not be "good". But he does have a valid point. At this point in the Jets rebuild getting rid of quality players is not that smart.

BTW the above quote was in relation to getting asked if he was going to trade Jason Taylor.

Bill Parcells traded away Hugh Douglas, that quote is as much hot wind as his groceries speech.

Hugh Douglas was a malcontent that did not fit Parcells mold. I am sure there was a hidden meaning in how the word "good" can be applied. I probably did not intimate that as well as I should have.

No need to look past the two most named "tradeable" players....... Chad and Vilma.

TO does not fill the Parcells mold..how is he doing?

    Keyshawn was not a malcontent?

Well #1 it looks like TO was forced upon BP. He may have retired because of him.

#2 There are differing opinions about Keyshawn.

#3 I agree Parcells is a wind bag on this issue. Like I said you can twist the word good a number of different ways. For the most part he is correct trading good players does not happen all that much in Football.

Not once Parcells got there, he was a model player. Keyshawn came from a winning program and recognized immediately that we had a clueless coach in Kotite and a losing culture, which he wasn't going to be content with. Once Parcells got here and the team was run with the intent to win, Keyshawn was not a problem.

Even with a big mouth Keyshawn at least had a lot of heart and played hard no matter what the record was. I remember that about him most late in the season under Kotite and he was still out there fighting for every yard. Compared to the TO's of the world I would take Keyshawn every day.

    hey hey hey!!! ;-)

What up! Haven't heard from you in a while! Well, ole' noodle arm still can win games...soo...yeah a 3rd...especially in this QB anemic league. Coles is worth a 2nd or 3rd, Vilma is worth a 1st or high 2nd...and mccatchless is worth a sack of chips and dip with a beer tossed in. lol lol

And all the attacks on Champ and the comments about Koz's intent...leave it alone...while champ is a bitter old man he still has the right to his opinion. And Koz is also well founded...for you new posters champ has been around here bitching for years and anything that comes his way has been well earned. So leave it.

    Peace!

That's why he was the best blocking receiver in the game.

Ed McCaffrey and Hines Ward were probably better, but Johnson's certainly high atop the list.

Coles missed 4 games in the last 7 years, Cotch missed 1 game in the last 2 years, that?s equal
