I think Feely is just gaining more and more confidence. I am really beginning to like this guy, I just feel like he won't miss a big kick the rest of the year.

Funny, when he stepped up to kick 55 yards in Oakland, I was confident, without question, no pressure. Why? I don't know.
I do know that if Nooge had been lined up that I would have been as nervous as hell.

Along with making the big kick, Jay has been out there on kickoffs making tackles and getting involved in the coverage part of special teams. I've seen him knock some unsuspecting guys around in his short tenure here and I've enjoyed it.

I have to believe Coach Westhoff has taken this into consideration while keeping Nugent at bay.

Jay should keep the job for the season barring injury of course.

    Good kick Jay!!!!

Shoot, I didn't even react until the officials signaled it was good, and it felt like a freaking eternity for them to raise their arms.

I definitely feel better with Feely in there instead of Nugent though. His kickoffs are superior to Nugent's glass leg efforts as well. Jay stays in there until he can't cut it anymore, end of story.
