That pick was on Adams; that was a simple anticipatory slant throw, but Adams didn't finish the route. Davantae Adams is terrible. As great as Brady, Rodgers, and Palmer are, you can't make JAGS great players. Those receivers don't get any seeparation and you can eliminate Cobb fairly easily without Jordy Nelson.

Yes. I see that kind of thing happening more and more in games. The announcers are more concerned with their conversation or a point they were making about some player, team or trend and less so with what's happening on the field.

Did anyone else think the Packers' play calling was awful at the end of the game? Rodgers was almost sacked a couple of times standing in the pocket. I think they should have had him roll out with an option to run. He probably could have run it in.

Yes, the Bears won, but I thought it was a stupid decision to punt the ball back to GB at the end.

I would much rather take my chances on a 4th and 1 at the GB 40 than willingly put the ball back in Rodgers' hands to win it. The Bears got lucky and very narrowly won. At worst, you don't get the yard and Rodgers still has to march 60 yards down the field. At best, 4th and 1 is a high percentage play; you get that yard and the game is essentially over. Chicago was running those bubble screens very effectively all night.

Anyway, the NFL is so over-conservative.

Yup I agree. Maybe you punt to Tannehill or Nick Foles/Case Keenum... Not Aaron Rodgers.

I think it was the perfect finish in all reality for Favre retirement night. You know he was grinning from ear to ear watching Rodgers lay an egg against a pedestrian Bears team on national TV.

umm Detroit and dallas are the traditional hosts for thanksgiving day games. they play more nfc teams than they do afc teams... aren't 12 of their games vs nfc teams?

therefore the likelihood is that you will have more nfc teams than afc teams. the night game is something they think that they can get folks to watch, its usually a rival game and this year with the packers vs bears most of the Midwest was going to be interested in that game.

I'd rather NFC dominates the worthless Thanksgiving games.

That Bengals game was fun a lifetime ago but everyone I knew was asleep when it happened.
