Fitz is awesome. The guy is tough as nails, gritty, smart smart smart, competitive. He's a leader. Hes more QB than this team has had in over a decade. Sent from my HTC6515LVW using Tapatalk
Geno threw for 300+ twice last year, with his best game in Miami 358 3td 0int last year. Fitz was damn good today though. Saved us on many a third downs.
Well said! Not good, but competent. I also think people still underestimate what a difference it means having Marshall and a "healthy" Decker to the passing game.
He's been awesome, and Mac deserves a lot of credit too. Getting Marshall & Fitz for a 5th and a 6th might have been the two best moves any team made this offseason.
FITZ-MAGIC IS DA MAN. We have GOT to find a way of keeping this sonofagun. LOVE his ability to respond to pressure AND step up in the pocket. He's got a healthy desire to run (with some unhealthy habits when finishing his runs, slide you mad man SLIDE) and has for the most part been incredibly accurate and timely with his passes. We CANNOT have done any better with our bridge QB, what a pickup he's turned out to be.
Fitz is what he is at this point. He won't win or loose you games on his own. He had help from everyone this game from receivers to Powell and yes even our crappy oline pulled it together.
I basically agree with this, but imo too often he steps up in the pocket when it is collapsing and he doesn't see or sense it, and winds up getting sacked, whereas if he'd roll out to either side he could throw the ball away at the very least. I saw that happen at least 3-4 times today.
Lol, I was actually at that game. If it wasn't for the 98 yard INT return for a touchdown as time expired in the 1st half, we might have won and made the playoffs. Ravens fans were heckling me all game! Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk
Lmao! Wtf are you talking about? Did you forget about the shit that was spewing from your mouth in the game thread today? You gave up on the game when it was 7-3 in the 1st quarter.
Huh? If this isn't winning a game "on your own", then what is? I'd love an example of a QB winning a game on his own without any help from his WRs or RB.
This was probably Mac's best off season acquisition. The team would have been a lot worse off if Geno was taking any snaps.
Yes, I do. I think he shares the blame on the sacks today, however. He showed little or no awareness at all. In his defense, since he has been getting better protection, perhaps he's not used to that kind of pressure this year, but I think the fact remains that he seemed unaware of how strong the pressure was or that the pocket was collapsing.
