Neither did I. An unfortunate segue from that is that if you look at the top 12 on that list (which includes me, of course), we haven't seen more than half in a while. Some are MIA for only a year or two (LarryAlRalph and Gloom N Doom), but for others it's been a while (championjets69) or a long while (LV Coach, NamathDays, wexy, adiehardjetsfan, frank_in_oz), although some were only here for a short while and/or for a specific reason. Hopefully they just decided that they have better things to do than post about this infuriating team.
No better than #4, youngster - nycarl and NYJetsO12 are still actively around, and I beat you by two weeks!
I was close with Pam off the board. It was a slow dawning kind of thing that she had suddenly fallen off the face of the earth. I put it together and then got confirmation. Awful. I didn't want to say anything publicly. The only two people I told was @The Waterboy because he was friendly with her and @Cman69 (about a year later). Apparently it eventually made it into this thread low key. She was a doll of a person, she really was. Never complained about her illness on top of it, just like an irreplaceable friend of mine who finally grew weary of a different ailment than Pam's, but just as draining. I think women are much different than men when they're dealt a bad hand with illness. They're quietly fiercer somehow. Pam was like that, very much so. Women tend to always want to heal the bird with the broken wing, but find themselves a lot more earth bound when their own wings are broken. I'm not going to try to explain that. I still have Pam's number in my phone even though it's not good anymore. RIP, Pam. You are missed. Fck MS. Edit: A word: irreplaceable. It autocorrected to irreparable, which I guess also works because she was dying. Yeah, so fck you, autocorrect, I got the last word. Literally. Word Play!
