Erm, I think I (Mile High Jets) decided to keep:

    Matt Leinart
    Jon Kitna
    Cedric Benson
    Brandon Jacobs
    Braylon Edwards

    Yup, that was right.

Strongly considered Williamson (numbers thing, couldn't commit to him for value), Burgess (big sacks, low points average) and Peterson (think I can do more with the recovered pick than a solid linebacker). Opted to dump all three.

People make sure you actually cut all the players that aren't your keepers (or involved in any trades made)

As Rambo mentioned, I traded Stephen Jackson for Bulger and Ronnie Brown. So now my keepers look something like this:

    -Mark Bulger
    -Ronnie Brown
    -Roy Williams
    -Warrick Dunn
    -Donald Driver

I tried to release all my non-keepers, but it says I can't do it because there is a trade pending.

The trade involving the Mean Machine and the Juggernauts consists of:

    Mean Machine trades L.Tomlinson + 8th round pick and Juggernauts trade D.Brees + S.Alexander

BTW - I'm taking offers for either Pennington or Farve but only for a draft pick outside of offers I already made.

What was the final list of keepers for all teams and the finalised draft order (taking into account the number of keepers)?

Ouch, that snake kills me in the beginning. Why are we having a snaking draft when merit determines draft position again?

You want a normal draft? I can do it. I'll host a vote if it passes I'll change it if not w/e.

I think we should have a normal draft for the pre-online part of the draft and then a snake draft afterwards that way it gives the lower team a better chance to improve and yet not cripple the good teams

That's how it works currently. Just check the draft results on the league info page.

I've voted for a normal draft - a snake draft just kills the weaker teams, minimising their opportunity to close the gap.

A snake draft is designed to give everyone an equal opportunity because all teams start out equal - a regular draft is designed to support the weaker teams where we know who is strong and who isn't. It's only fair.

The problem with that is that you are only keeping a few players so it isn't like the good teams have their full rosters and is only getting better, they have just a few players returning and will still have to build the rest of their team. A perfect example of something like this was junc's team 2 years ago, while his team stunk 2 years ago, he still had one of the stronger cores in the league
