Penn State, and that's not even a question. Against us, Beanie had 22 for 55. Great pick for Cincy. They're really going a solid job today.
wats with the obsession with picks if we have 7 picks and only 3 guys make a difference wats the point , just get the guys you want and move on
I'm OK with Shonn Greene, but honestly, did we have to give up a our 3rd, 4th AND 7th for him? It's kind of annoying having 3 or 4 picks per year...
Is there a reason that New England is always so good? Yeah, they make 10 picks a year, 5 on the first day. God damn, that's a well run organization. We try and be splashy and come off looking like retards.
ok--he went 28/117 against psu with 2 td's and 1 reception for 6 yds. Here's something extremely positive: 307 carries and no fumbles. I guess that's something that draws very positive attention.
Well I would say we added one defensive stud and one solid defensive player. But the point is that in the 2007 draft we selected four players and we were fucked before the season even started with the Pete Kendall fiasco. There was no depth behind our starters and when one was traded away, well we were 4 'n 12... I really don't like this that were only drafting three players barring no trade for TJ is made.
Shonn Greene - 2008 -1,850 Yards 20 TD. 142 Yards Per Game. Vs Penn State - 28 Carries for 117 Yards and 2 TD
Im shocked at how stupid you guys are acting. Sanchez = steal of the draft. Greene = interesting pick, but not a shock. TJ is done. Depth can be done, easily after the draft. It's like you guys have never experienced an off season before.
I think some people will rather have us sit pat and pick where we are supposed to and not trade up.If Ryan wants to ran and identifies Green as the thum per that we need, why should he wait and pray that Green is there at our pick. There are followers and leaders. We choose to lead.I do not care one iota that we gave away our 4th and 7th for Green.I am sure if there is a player that we want in the 4th we can always trade back into the 4th to get him.Id rather not give away a pick next year to get a player this year though.
There's no guarantee if you have 10 picks you will get depth. Give me this draft or 2007 over the '97-'99 drafts that Parcells had where we 31 picks in 3 years and most of it was a waste. A good % of those guys didn't even make the team.
its a good pick the picks we have but as far as draft picks we gave up alot so we better hope they are studs and pan out
And of their 10 picks a year 4 or 5 of them always suck. Tully Banta-Cain, Lawrence Maroney and Chad Jackson, everyone after Merriweather in the 2007 draft, everyone except Mayo last year, etc. The pats always have so many picks, always trade down, and it never works, they have good success in round 1, but are very hit and miss in later rounds recently. More picks means crap if you dont pick well, Id rather trade up for the guys i know I want than take a bunch of guys im unsure about and get 5 busts a draft.
