    I have a feeling we'll move into the 4th or the 5th...

He is a pounder and is very elusive. He looks faster then he times and he can run through guys.

Good pick. Hopefully we dangle Jones now and get back into the 3rd or 4th.

I watched the hawkeyes for several years and tim Dwight was the best to come out of there off the top of my head--and he never really made it in the nfl. There's been several iowa rb's who look good in college and don't make it. This pick has bust written all over it--I guess we'll see.

He would've been available in 11 picks. And if we're going to pound pound pound the run WHY IN FUCKS SAKE DID WE GIVE UP SO MUCH FOR SANCHEZ?

what did we give up for this? Rex Ryan is clearly changing the image of the team. I like the pick, just scares me that we choose a RB and a QB in the draft.

No, we'll probably use the 6th at TE/DE.

Greene was projected as a late 2nd rounder/early 3rd rounder. We thought the talent in this draft was thin, so we decided to strike when a valuable player was there. Apparently we like our receivers, or we plan to sign someone like Matt Jones. Also, we apparently feel like we can address DE a little later in the draft or in FA.

Could be a good back to have with Washington. I don't think they needed to move up though

I'd hope so, but with what? Future picks? Not my favorite thing to do.

I wanted a RB eventually to replace the malcontent Jones and I can't argue with this. Jones isn't even a real downhill runner as he does dance a lot.

Greene will instantly contribute in short-yardage situations- its clear this is Jones last year in New York IMHO.

We would still need a WR though. Clowney, Stuckey and Smith while all are young I dont think either one can be fully capable of starting, especially right away.

I do think we trade into round 4 too, even though that may cost the team a future pick in the process.

so uhh.. how good is marques douglas?? Cause I really was lookin forward to getting gilbert.. and him dropping to the 3rd was perfect.. and now.. we have Greene. Which i like yeah great he's good and we need a work horse RB that handle a lot of carries, and he can definitely do that. But i thought we should have gone gilbert.. he's young, he's big, and he's athletic.. ughh.. really hope this wasn't a mistake becasue Rex has a bias with Douglas caused he already played for him..

He is slow and weak for an NFL RB.

Cook or Gilbert would have been great.

    Combine Results:
    40 Yard Dash : 4.65 seconds
    Bench Press : 19.0 reps
    Vertical Jump : 37.0 inches
    Broad Jump : 121.0 inches
    3 Cone Drill : 7.1 seconds
    20 Yard Shuttle : 4.4 seconds

I love people saying how this draft sucks. You cannot possibly evaluate a draft until a year or two later. With the exception of Gholston (jury still out), they has earned a bit of trust. I think back to how many people were bitching when we traded up for Revis. Many of these 'top college players' will bust in the first 2 rounds. this is not Madden. Relax, and see how things turn out.

Iowa has several good players in the league. Are you sure you've been watching them?

Tim Dwight is better than Dallas Clark? Bob Sanders? Aaron Kampman? Really?

Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year

Did not fumble one time his senior year

Did not rush for less than 100 yards in a game his senior year

Rushed for 217 against stingy Wisconsin and 211 against Purdue

The guy looks like a stud!

I say this draft sucks. As in, it's a weak draft. I think our draft is great.
