Your assessment of JPP is reasonable, but I would be upset because we'd be giving up more picks (and we are short a couple already) for a player who will probably not contribute much this year (since he's such a project) and has high bust potential.

I think he's going a lot higher than people think.

Some are even saying he'll go before Spiller.

    I wouldn't be surprised.

As dynamic as Spiller is, Mathews is a heck of a RB in his own right, only he's more built to be a 20+ carries feature back.

I still expect Spiller to go higher because he's so darn explosive, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mathews leaped him.

If hes on the board 3-4-5-6 picks before us, do you trade up for em ?

I still dont think theres much of a chance of Leon being a jet after friday, and if someone like Matthews ends up falling while everyones looking at the big name defensive players qbs recievers and spiller I think we gotta make a move for em as long as we arent crippling ourselves, then just figure out what the hell to do with Leon on day 2.

Hell if Leon and a 1st round pick lands us Matthews Ill have absolutely no complaint.

Joe Linval's a beast. I'm sick of the Ngata Haloti references, though. :)

Hell looking at the draft order. If Miami passes on Matthews, youll have Seattle chosing between Spiller/Matthews and the only teams before the Chargers I see biting at him are the Steelers and Texans.

I think the Steelers go WR to make up for losing Holmes (and they have a young feature back in Mendelhall) then it just leaves the Texans. And of course the Texans have some serious gaping holes in their secondary.

Eagles could use help @ hb but they just got McCoy so I dont see them doing it in the first. And then you got the Pats and who knows what the hell theyre do, I just dont see them going HB.

I wouldnt be the slightest bit surprised to see Best and or Matthews are on the clock when the Cowboys pick. All I know is if Matthews is available and the cowboys are picking ill be looking for that little trade thing to flash up on the screen.

I'd love for the Jets to trade up for him because he's my favorite player in this entire draft, but I don't think it will happen.

Who are all the guys that would be on your List 1, Mr. E? Regardless of how plausible it would be to actually do...

Is Best expected to go before Matthews still ?

I always see him above Matthews in mock drafts, but never hear anything about him
